Owners won't give it up. Compromise is the Thursday night teams are on their bye the prior week. Then teams don't have two games so close in number of days and players get their needed rest.

Yes but I'm sure John lynch has plenty of old defensive heads that can bounce some ideas off to Saleh and we still have George Seifert in the building. Two less preseason games and each team gets two BYEs (like in the '93 season) should be the compromise to continue TNF
