We've found ways to win any type game with practice squad players starting. This is a special season so far

Losing 3 starters early this year does not agree with this nonsensical post
Staley and Juice coming back make me VERY Happy.

Kwon would be a huge loss but keep the front four healthy, Jimmy and Kittle and this team can go a long way.

LOL even worse than before now

With the new CBA I'm guessing no more Thursday games

Sounds good

Owners won't give it up. Compromise is the Thursday night teams are on their bye the prior week. Then teams don't have two games so close in number of days and players get their needed rest.

That's not a possible compromise. Thursday games are just bad for the NFL. Plus the NFL has made an effort to make the games better for Thursday night games and ruined the match ups for Monday nights. If they want more games added to the schedule then they need to drop Thursday games

This is sort've how the 2010 Packers got it done, they like lost their whole o-line and backfield, but ended up grinding a Lombardi out of it.

Why do teams not already have a bye before TNF? This is a disaster. The games are always sloppy. Worse, it's dangerous for the players.

We're toast? He's a great player but not the only guy on our defense.

But hopefully he's good by playoffs.

There we have it, told you the offense will have to win this game for us.

That was one ugly mother fxxking game. The D simply wasn't prepared at all, period!!

We couldn't stop the run nor the pass. We had no answer for Kyler Murray, we made him look like some QB savant.

Robert Saleh has to take a long look at himself in the mirror. It was so bad to the point of embarrassment!! What was the game plan? Where were the adjustments?

Oh and if you think Kyler Murray is good, wait till we play Russell Wilson and Lamar Jackson. May be Wilson doesn't run as much now, but Jackson will be running circles around this D if we don't sort this sh*t out.

OK, as for the O, Jimmy G won this game for us, no question about it!! The playcalling was complete sh*te. It became apparent we couldn't run the ball effectively as the O-line was losing the battle in the trenches. Kyle Shanahan should have called way more pass plays, opened the playbook and let Jimmy make plays for us. Instead, he kept calling run plays which put us behind schedule plus a ton of pressure on Jimmy G and the WRs. Sure, he tried to keep the opposing D honest, but who were you fooling? The Cards knew full well they had our number on the run game.

There needs to be a ton of reflection and a truckload of homework to fix all the mistakes.

Let's start with run D, it was fxxking pathetic!! I am sorry, there is just no other way to put it. All that talk about being the No.1 D and we couldn't stop the run!! We need some God damn proper run stuffers, the linebackers and DBs need to be coached much better for run support.

Anyway, we were just so very lucky to be able to escape with a win. If Jimmy couldn't make that last 1st down, the Cards would have marched down the field at will like they had done all game and scored.

Two less preseason games and each team gets two BYEs (like in the '93 season) should be the compromise to continue TNF

I know one of the proposals they have in mind is what you wrote with a 17 game season.

If we hadn't gotten that 1st down, anyone else worried our D wouldn't have stopped them?

Think we would have been ok if we stopped the screen. They got us fluke plays not well defended.

That's the last time that trick will work on us. They'll have to come with a new one next time we meet

I am concerned that Saleh never adjusted though.

This is his first time to plan for a real life troll...a mini willow / baby willow / mini midget, we should give him a pass.

In a couple of weeks, Saleh better get that D humming when Tards come to visit our turf. He better make sure we shut them down!

This was good practice for our D. Next up, the fatter willow, then mini willow again.

Later on, Lamar Jackson (better with his legs than the willow bros)

Rodgers was a beast for that

We do not have a replacement for Kwon.

8 and 0 is very special. I'm thrilled. But it seems like every other week we have to morn for a hurt player. That's football.
