Context matters... the post referenced the post-injury Willis years when Bowman was the alpha LB on the team. TBPH who dafuq cares... just happy the Warner/Alexander duo is even being brought up in the same sentence as those two legends.

With Jimmy G's big game - the narrative might have changed to the Niners have a legit Qb.

who cares, we are 8-0 and we actually play the saints and packers so it will be decided one way or another

and it's very possible we'll play one or both of them in January and the first time around won't mean a thing.

Albeit it was with some ref help, but the Rams lost in New Orleans in the regular season last year and then went back there in the playoffs and won.

It would suck to lose and have to play there in the playoffs but losing to them in the regular season doesn't mean it's all over.

Congrats, Mayo! You were right and I was wrong. You got your game from Jimmy G. (though 4 TDs instead of your 3 lol) in a game where we really needed it.

Thanks, I just knew he was ready to breakout one of these games.

We always seem to lose someone important after another big win...Kwon could be out for a while after we beat the cards to be 8-0...dang NFL gods won't ever let us have anything good without giving something up

When we first got Kwon, I said the dream would be for Warner and him to be our Bow/Pat. Some thought I was crazy to even suggest it.
It seemed like a really high goal but the impact they have had had been great. Still got a LONG way to go though.

Its frustrating for sure. But it sounds like it wont be an 'out for the season' type injury. We have overcome some huge injuries already, and some of the guys will already be back in the action (Staley, spoon) next week. Every team has injuries, you just dont hear about them like you do your own team.

As long as we keep winning, I'll take it. 11 more injuries, 11 more wins, another title

I hate it too but the football Gods keep asking for sacrifices.
Arizona got lucky they were playing us on TNF. When we play them at home we should easily win by 20+

Lol I was just watching the game thinking "I don't know what we'd do if kittle was gone but man we got ten days to recover" not knowing Kwon would be the one that gets hurt. Good thing we have Greenlaw playing at a decent level and we run mostly nickel packages
8 and 0. We'll take it.
It was concerning the defense basically played like s**t but we still managed to win the game. The offense and more specifically Jimmy took a turn closing out the game like you normally expect the defense to. That's the mark of a championship caliber team, take an underdog's best shot and still find a way to win. AZ ran plays to neutralize the aggressive front 7 but in the end their defense still too poor to get a stop when it counted.
