how is Gordan able to play? i thought NE waived him because he was going on season ending IR? now he's healthy and ready to play? if he can still play, why did NE release him?

They got tired of dealing with his crap for minimal production.

This.

Seattle picked him off waivers. Imagine the number of teams that passed on him since Seattle is 6-2. There's a reason why he was even available for Seattle to pick him off waivers.

Yeah he could still play but he wasn't worth their designated to return spot so they put him on season ending reserve then cut him.

Seattle wants that compensatory pick
Toot toot
f**k Seattle.. the Cawks and their myopic sad little fan base
Hopefully Kittle will be good to go, Seattle has been awful vs TEs this yr. I'd love to throw some screens to the RBs maybe get Coleman lined up vs their TEs. Wagner and Wright have been awful in coverage.

Imo this game is gonna come down to our DL and our secondary.

I thought about this as well. When I saw Seattle picked him up, I thought, wow, that's pretty high up the food chain.
Is Towlie going to play on Monday?

Kittle and Goodwin honestly. I didn't like the looks we were getting to stop the run game. I said in the Cardinals thread on game day, no way a defense plays us with that many defenders that close to the LOS if Goodwin is out there. Time for us to get Richie James some work on the deep routes. We need another established threat that defenses have to respect. Pettis is probably the better option, but we have to start working those plays back in. Particularly after Staley and MM are back.
Seattle always has a chance when Wilson is playing but I feel like this Seattle team is their worst one in a while, even though they are 6-2.

I think we go in rested and our defense will have a chip on its shoulder. Since it's a home game, I think we win pretty convincingly.

I am very concerned about losing Kwon though :/

Sherm is going to get this defense to go wild though, for him! Everyone is going To want to thrash Seattle for sherm!

What I love is that if we win the press will say Seattle played us close and lost to a good team. If we lose it will be the 49ers have been exposed. Will they win another game all season?

Sounds like the solution is for us to beat them where it's not close

I'd be ok with that.
What's their scouting report?

For the first time in a while, Kyle SHOULD be able to play as wide open as he needs with the idea Staley and Juice will be back and possibly MM as well although, Brunskill is playing at a higher level than him before the injury (PFF, of course). And now we have Jimmy, Sanders and Coleman rolling. Kyle should really be able to open up the offense and create some mismatches with Pettis, Breida, Deebo, Juice, etc. Their DC should be crapping his pants right now on how to game plan for this one...not just b/c of the players coming back and talent level, but the mere fact Kyle can now completely open up the playbook and not have to scheme around talent lost.

Defensively, this one's on Saleh. They'll run, run and run some more. This DL must stop the run inside and unlike this last game, the DE's absolutely need to be disciplined on the edges and not let Carson or Willow outside or it's over. The backside has to be disciplined as well. Their C just went down so bring the A-gap pressure all damn day. Outside of Lockett, chill out on the monster cushions on 3rd downs. Ward needs to be drilled for this game...he's given up as many poor angles as T.Moore before he lost his job. The secondary needs to communicate better post snap and stay with their men through the whistle.

It's either a close game or this team galvanized by the Kwon injury and late game bad defense, to blow out the Seahawks.

Either way, they will get a win at home. 9-0 Here we gooo!!
