Rapid Reaction: THE SKY IS FALLING!

Okay, so that was not what any of us were expecting. But, I think we were spoiled by our dominant defense and run game that we thought no one had a chance against us. Welp, reality just showed up and cracked us between the eyes. And yet, we still won. I want to emphasize something to you while some of our brethren will say the sky is falling: Good teams win bad games. Bad teams lose them. We won. This can serve as a wake up call. This, then, is a good thing.

Pros:

1. I missed the entire first half trick or treating with our toddler. So, yeah, watch a replay. And yes, if you were wondering, she made out with much loot and candy.
2. Second Half we were gassed but the Jimmy G passing attack was working. This bodes well for us down the line.

Cons:
1. Tired. Short rest week. Banged up. And because of these things we were exposed by the Cardinals repeated use of the screen that took our aggressive pass rush out of the game. I expect us to make adjustments during the break.
im not too worried as it was an extremely short week and we have a genius HC in Kyle to figure out how to fix and improve upon our shortcomings tonight. Good practice for Willow too for our DL.
We get a second bye and we're 8-0 and have shown resilience to injuries.
It's Thursday Night Football, we came away with a W, and we're 8-0. What's falling?

Watch the first half. The defense did their thing in the first half. I think the wore down and the Cardinals kept going to what was working. Either we didn't adjust or didn't care and had a basic goal of containing Murray and not giving up big plays (we did that once).
A bad decision and angle by a DB and a dropped pick 6. Two plays not in our favor. Without those two plays, the game would not have been close
The D was terrible but other than the isabella TD, it was all bad play calling by Saleh. Murray was literally just checking down every play. the wrong personnel was in the whole time to contain what seemed like an obvious plan to attack out defense. Saleh had a really bad game but he will learn from it. Kwon being out will be a huge hit but NEXT MAN UP. I believe Greenlaw will come in and do a great job
What? No.

If Kwon and Kittle aren't seriously hurt, this was an ideal game. The D had a down day, but we know they're very good. Our run game is very good. ST are good.

The big question mark all year has been if the run game and defense struggle, can JG put the team on his back? Guess what? Yes. He. Can.

16-2.
This was a trap game and we fell into the trap...and still won! This feels a bit like the Steelers game.

Hope the 3 solutions will be back after the mini bye.
Without Kwon, I see some serious deficiencies in our run defense. Saleh has his work cut out for him. Greenlaw seems too small to stop running backs. He was drafted as a coverage LB.

He needs experience though so I'm hoping he develops just like Skool and Brunskil on the other side.

He's a Razorback, he will show up.
