Only thing that matters at the moment is SEA, next up. Man i would like to win THAT one. The problem will be.,..the same as in the Kyler murray game. How the heck do we defense Russ Wilson? Nobody really has to date, tho i would like to go back , see which 2 teams beat him and why. I suspect kyle has done that already. And , we absolutely have to be ready for hurry up offense, which keeps our DL rotation from getting on and off the field. I trust that was an item of discussion also.

The problem for me is having lost KWON. With him the passes across the middle, just flat azz stopped. In all these upcoming games, that will be our Achilles heel. Our DL just can't play better. Those guys leave it all out on the field. I do hope that kyle is intimately involved in the game plan for the D. It is obvious nobody gave any thot to what happens is AZ goes hurry up and we can't get fresh DL out there? Big mistake on our part and that open sore is still there. Have to assume kyle has something figured for that.

Until we play and beat SEA, i am not making any more comment. First i want to see how kyle overhauled the D after getting our azzes kicked by KK by virtue of running no huddle O.

I think the best defense in the games with New Orleans, Seattle, Green Bay, and Baltimore is a good offense. Taking care of the ball, holding onto the ball, and scoring (which we are certainly capable of), helping to eliminate the threat of the run and hopefully making offenses more one dimensional against us, playing right into the hands of our strength- pass defense. Granted, we won't have Kwon there, but I think this is one approach. Even though Russell Wilson is the superior QB, I'm not that worried about Seattle. Arizona's gash plays were more a result of our own mistakes than what they did. Murray did adjust pretty well to our pass rush after taking some huge losses early on. I think our offense gives us the edge against Seattle. The real threat IMO is Baltimore and New Orleans, because of the time and quality of the team. It will be an interesting t6 weeks to say the least.

Yup ,it surely does. Difference is as athletic as Kap was, Russ W is 4x better than Kap ever could have been. Lamar Jackson...is just a bigger , stronger , kap, EXCEPT he went from early season looking like a Rook, to midseason and he makes a lot of great decisions. Doesn't even look like the same guy. Remarkable change in ability to see routes, throw it away, or throw it 90 yards, ( i bet he can) But his passes to receivers are now 4x better than when he broke in. Somebody good is coaching him, either harbaw or their QB coach. Interesting how his passes are all so wristy.

Another aspect is if tackled he just runs thru tackles. Kap was never known for that ...or Lamar runs right over LBs. I was no fan of his initially, just another big guy with a cannon who could run. But I was dead wrong about his talents. He got better across the board and did it in record time, 8 games. My hat is off to him. Brees will be tough. Rodgers tough. Russ Wilson, my guess is toughest of all, and Lamar is right behind him.

Worse, Russ is having his greatest yr of his career, with 15 TDs and 1 INT....crazy good. Also he makes the best decision virtually all the time. Has a lot of justifiable sentiment for MVP this yr.

Seriously in these 5 games, NO, GB, Ravens, SEA x2—- if we win 2, i would be stoked. And we HAVE TO win 1 for sure against SEA. If we ended up beating SEA twice and losing the other 3, i would be fine with that. Ain't gonna happen tho, so we gotta beat at least one of the other teams. These are serious teams, and wth no KWON, man, our opponents have a big edge in passing game. Hard to know how that factors into W/L but it sure does take some of the dew off our Lilly.

Jackson is not a bigger, stronger Kap. Kap is 2 or 3 inches taller and 20 lbs heavier and has a stronger arm. What jackson has is more speed, better pocket awareness and much better escapability. Kap was fast once he got going but those long legs didn't help when he tried to maneuver around the pocket. One thing to keep in mind is how hard it was to defend Kap his first year or two. Let's see how long it takes before the league figures out Jackson.

I used to say this often. He had no escapability, was a long strider who could break off huge runs if he got 10 yards of open grass. But elusive and quick he was not. I'm interested in seeing Lamar Jackson in 2022 to see if he can keep progressing.

nah
If only Sherm could have some type of underlying motivation going into the Seattle game like he had with Mayfield and the reporters that sounded stupid for calling the team pretenders...

I'm not a big Jim Rome fan but I love this quote. "And they are not looking for your respect; they are just going to rip it from you.

I'd like to thank the chargers for beating the packers for us by buying every charger fan in that stadium on Sunday a beer, shouldn't cost me more than 30 bucks.
I just love the fact that coach has been on his A game each and every week then he's gotten the guys up each contest including for a lot of cross country road games thus far. I'm damn pumped that we have brought the intensity each week no matter the opponent. It spells for good things the rest of the way

On a weekly basis; there can be more than one undefeated team per year ...
2014 - Eagles, Bengals and Cards were the last three undefeated teams, each at 3-0-0, all three teams lost in week 4.
2010 - Bears, Steelers and Chiefs were also last undefeated at 3-0-0, and all three teams lost the following week.
2002 - Raiders and Chargers were both undefeated at 4-0-0 and both teams lost the following week.
