Means nothing. Still a lot of football to play. 9-0 would be amazing.
Of course we are. We're going 19-0!

Happy were the last team standing, but even more concerned with facing the Ravens now.

Legal in the pocket, ironically.

I dont get why anyone even cares about rankings, media love or where the defensive stats are. Who's going to give this team respect, what people are going to say this team or that team is better than the Niners.......who cares!!!!!

Let them say whatever, let them rank the team in the bottom ten, praise all the new media darlings each week and keep saying how the Niners are a fluke, thats just the way I want to see it. Being 8-0 is absolutely great, but it really doesn't mean anything until we beat our biggest Div rival and until we knock off one of the other top teams in the league or two to prove to the world that we truly are the best team.

That's only acomplished by beating the Saints, Seahawks, Ravens and Packers like the Ravens just beat NE. Until that happens being undefeated is meaningless other than it will get us better position in seeding.

The most important thing we need is, to stay healthy, play clean football with no mistakes on both sides of the ball and keep seeing players sliding through the mud, making jokes on the sidelines after winning games and seeing players so confident and happy that they're calling thirsty sideline reporters baby............(to quote the great Tim Harris)........"all the motherf**king way to Miami baby"!!!!!!!

Then everything else will fall into place

I look at it like this. It going to take a team with a great OL AND/OR QB that can play defense to match up with SF because that will neutralize the 49ers greatest strength; their defensive front. The 2 teams that immediately come to mind are *NO and Dallas (don't laugh). I also think Philadelphia is a sneaky dangerous team as well.

It's all about matchups.

*From an NFC perspective
