Richie James decision is a head scratcher. He has made plays all the time his number is called. Not sure why he doesn't see more targets.

How often is he even on the field? I know he had a few snaps early in the season but I wonder if he's not getting playing time because he's not as good a run blocker

I totally disagree that it was an embarrassment. I think the hurt feels might be self inflicted product of us living in that "undefeated bubble of confidence".

I've listened to the radio, and sports shows all day today and everyone was saying how good of a game it was, and it lived up to the hype.

Once you take your head out of the fanatic vacuum, it becomes an easier pill to swallow.

But, that is simply not realistic.

This was the Seahawks and not just another team. A hated rival deeply ingrained in history. This imbalance of power has been going on for way too long, to be precise over 7 years now.

And what is wrong in having the confidence of an undefeated team? Are you saying we don't deserve it?

Confidence doesn't equate to cockiness, most of us know a little bit about football. This Seahawks team has been scraping by week after week. Their point differential was only +18 after 9 games, meaning their average margin of victory was only 2 points for cry out loud!! And the 9ers? +133 after 8 games!! This Seahawks team isn't some powerhouse.

Sure, our tackles were garbage, the WRs were useless, but we still could have tied if not won the game.

The bolded is exactly what I mean about our minds being stuck in the Niner vacuum, or bubble. It means the world to us, but just another game to everyone else.

The truth is that it doesn't even matter who the Seahawks are even at this point. Everything that happened last night is a product of being undefeated. The biggest target is on your back and EVERY TEAM will play you like it's their superbowl. And unfortunately, the Seahawks are arguably the worst team to face in this situation. They are the prototype spoiler team.

It is what it is. Hopefully it's more of a learning lesson for the Niners.

I hope everyone feels better soon.

Hopefully everyone goes back to disrespecting the 49ers and they fly under the radar like before.

Do that, and all will be well. Seems like Game 1 is always the Seahawk dominates the 49ers game. Game 2 we play better.

I agree 100%.

The only way out is to repay the Seahawks and take them out at C-Link.

Failing that, the embarrassment, disappointment, frustration, pain and anger will never go away, is that simple.

If we go down 0-2 to the Seahawks for the season, then we have no right to say we are the better team.

I dare the 9ers to beat the Seahawks in Week 17, if they can't do it, admit defeat, go back to the drawing board, eat some humble pie and start from a clean slate again because it would prove to be a failure.

People have to realize, there is no way out here. If we don't collapse from this loss, we will most likely go to the playoffs. And in the playoffs, soon or later you will have to play and beat the Seahawks in order to advance.

So, whatever the fxxk is wrong with the team such as O-line, WRs and what not, they better deal with it and get it sorted out pronto!!

24 hours after the game, finally tried to brace myself to watch some of these postgame shows. Who are we kidding here?! They are all unwatchable as a 9ers fan. We have now lost a ton of respect after this loss.

Good!!!

49ers were winning when no one respected them. I was actually getting irritated AF when the media started jumping on the band wagon.

Anyone with eyes should have lost respect for us.

We knew what was coming, a stacked box vs a bottom tier D and we got our s**t shoved in.

Vs our divisional rivals and the best team we've faced this far. These are the important games.
Man I hope we end up going further than this Seahawks team and beat them at the end of the year just for the hell of it...their fans are atrocious.

Need someone to find the horseshoe that team has up their ass and pull it out.
