Baltimore and New Orleans are gonna be toss ups. Defense travels well so I expect tough but very close games

uhm,, it was also said seattle could not stop the run. how did that work out. kittle maybe will play. sanders has rib issues. even if he can play. he will not be effective. the cards almost beat us last time. what makes you think it will be easier. good lord

Maybe the fact the we had zero weapons helped completely turn that game around? What was the score when Sanders went out? Had Seattle stopped us before he went out? Nope

Almost doesn't count for jack. The previous matchup being a Thursday nighter and having only 3 days to prepare for Kyler absolutely factored into the game being closer than expected. Thursday night games on the road are notoriously whacky, especially for the road team. The D will be ready for it the second time around.

I personally think the Niner D is gonna come out fierce in this game. As far as the offense, I'm not counting on Sanders being in there. Hopefully Kittle is but if not would like to see more Celek. I'd love to see more James in the slot at WR and give Pettis less opportunities. I think AZ will sell out on defending the run much like Seahawks did. BUT with Juice back. That my lead to some big runs by Coleman and Mostert.

I feel we can win the Cards game with what we have - it's the Packers, Ravens and Saints games that I'm fretting.

Where the f*ck is Toilolo.

Shanahan changed half the personnel of the offense in one game. F*cked up allot of continuity. Celek hadnt played all year, both tackles and the FB as well. The entire blocking scheme was f*cked from the start. Once the only safety valve in Sanders was out of the game it was pretty much game over offensively.
I am kinda glad we have to face all these mobile QBs now (in AZ, Seattle, Baltimore, even GB). We need lots of experience defending these guys, with Kyler and Willow in our division.

I still wonder how vanilla and strategically Kyle was purposely keeping his game plan against Seattle in order to set them up for the game in Dec., which could (possibly) propel the 49ers into the playoffs with momentum. He's known for setting opposing teams up for an offensive attack later in a game so why not in games ahead for teams they play twice. He probably assumed (correctly or not) that without missed kicks and WR's dropping balls and Jimmy being more accurate that the 49ers could handle Seattle. And they might have. We'll never know.
I think this week against Az we will see if that's true in how he attacks Az defense which manhandled the 49ers pretty well last time. Off a short week on Halloween, the 49ers didn't look like the same team that had Carolina and the Rams reeling.
Sic 'em Kyle!

That is an absolutely ridiculous observation. Once the season starts, you don't purposely hold back "better" plays, increasing your chance of losing because you hope to set up winning a game in the future.

You have absolutely zero idea what the future will look like, standings wise, injury wise, etc. It would be foolish to do what you suggest doing.

Unfortunately, Kyle's answer to the Seattle defense just made it look like he was holding back to some people.
I can see Kliff scheming the bejeezus out of his offense for this game. They know we absolutely do not want to lose again.

"We" don't feel bad, you do. The team is on to the next game and so is the majority of the fan base. You are in the Cardinals pregame thread crying about the Seahawks game.

Are you giving a go with creative writing? You don't represent the "majority" of the fans base. The fan base doesn't feel bad. Of course they don't, they feel ecstatic actually. LOL. Who the fxxk are you kidding here?!

Thanks for the red herring. Perhaps you're right, perhaps the "majority" of the fans are dejected, angst-filled teens; however, I'd like to think that there are a few adults out there as well. If you have been a fan of this team for more than a few years, you've experienced so many losses that this doesn't even register as a blip. The players have a job to do, they will be preparing for the Cardinals, not sitting in their mom's basement crying about the previous game.

First of all, age has nothing to do with how upset one is allowed to feel in reaction to a loss.

It is not only presumptuous on your part to identify dejected fans as "teens", it is in fact downright condescending to talk down to younger people with insulting comments such as "sitting in their mom's basement crying..."

Well, let's see, at the very least, you owe all the teenager 9ers fans around the world a huge apology.

Since you like to position older age as some sort of a superiority, I don't know how old you are, as for me, I can assure you I am nowhere near the age bracket of a teen although I would love to be to maintain my youth. But, the truth is I started following the 9ers in the early 80's, that's right when Joe Montana was the quarterback of the franchise, so I guess you could work out whether I am that "angst-filled teen" that you described. Let me help you out here, I was a teen then, that makes me pretty much an OG if you will, for all I know I could be even older than you for what is worth. Ironic, isn't it?

Either way, it is totally irrelevant. Insulting people by age is a form of discrimination just in case you didn't realize. Secondly, different people are entitled to their own opinions. If you don't agree, you could choose to ignore such posts. But, if you choose to attack, then be prepared to receive.
