Emmanuel Sanders goes out with an injury and our entire WR corps turns to totally non functional. I mean these guys are just awful. Garoppolo didn't play perfect tonight but you got to admit even when he hits these idiots right between the numbers it's just stunning how many of them bang right off their body and bounce straight up into the air for deflections and interceptions. I'm talking about you Kendrick Bourne, Deebo Samuel and Dante Pettis. They are all guilty of this and not just this game too. Multiple games and they do this regularly. Our WR's have absolutely awful hands. They are like bricks for hands and instead of just catching it they routinely bang if off their hands or body for bounced, tipped balls into the air for interceptions. I can't believe how much I see this happen this year with these guys.

One of the primary jobs of a receiving target is to "receive" the ball. You are supposed to catch it. They have been doing this all their life but apparently don't know how to catch. Other NFL teams I see have backups who may not be fast or run the best routes but at least they can catch a ball. If you have been playing this position for all your life don't you think it's kind of important to catch the passes? I see other NFL receivers routinely do it. But ours apparently can't. Obviously it's costly.

Emmanuel Sanders and George Kittle go out and this team is totally non functional. Of course it hurts a lot to lose your top 2 targets. I would expect a drop off. But not guys who can't catch the ball. Guys who routinely bounce the ball straight high up into the air for probable interceptions off their BRICK hands. Just like tonight I think it will be deeply costly against the very good teams.

Our WRs are fine.

They just can't catch.
This is like the EDGE problem last year, so yeah. Pretty much. Dante Pettis is this year's Cassius marsh.

Yes, since 2004.
Where do I vote, yes?
Not the worst in the league, more like bottom 5.
Watching other teams has made me realize we have almost nothing when it comes to wr talent.
It truly is pathetic. Can't remember the last time I saw so many dropped passes in years from any team

I agree. It's pretty bad for an NFL team. I honestly see College teams routinely catch better than this. It's embarrassing.
Patriots WR group is pretty bad, too. If they lost their Top 2 (Edelman and Sanu) they'd have a pretty awful pass offense.
Yes, we do.

I've never been a fan of Bourne. He's good for one catch and then he goes away for the rest of the game. His inability to catch has been an issue since he got here. Kendrick was Seattle's best WR tonight. I really hope he's not on the roster next year.

Pettis needs to man up and realize he's playing football. He's way to soft out there.

I really do think Goodwin should take some time away from the game and focus on his personal life. It really does seem like it's impacting him on the field

I'd say they are definitely bottom 5 for sure at least. If not worse.
