Pettis should be inactive. I would go with Sanders, Samuels, James, Bourne, and Goodwin before playing Pettis.
We should just see whether he can come out of the sophomore slump next season. I really do not expect him to be able to contribute anything this season.
He has been playing many snaps and not get open. When we throw him the ball he isn't catching them.

Bolded part could also be put next to Goodwin who is contributing nothing right now.

I am not arguing that Goodwin played well, but he has been the better receiver:
Snaps:
Goodwin 249
Pettis 306
Targets
Goodwin 19
Pettis 24
Catches and yards
Goodwin 11 catches 181 yards
Pettis 11 catches 109 yards

Oh I agree I am just saying both are not worth the spot on the roster right now. In Fact I don't understand why Richie James in not used more. Bourne is always open it seems he just had a really bad evening that was two plays from being a very good evening. I for one am hoping Hurd is coming back soon.

Ok. I think we are on the same page. We want to see more Richie James.

Remember when Goodwin said there was no need to bring in AB... because he was our AB?

He reminds me a little bit of Taylor with his ability to find space and then Richie is really good with getting YAC. I for the life of me cannot figure out why he isn't getting some snaps.
James
Snaps 153
Targets 9
5 catches for 108 21.6 yds per catch and 1td

PLEASE
Dez Bryant. I know he's 31 and coming off a torn ACL, but how could he be worse than what I saw last night? At his best in his younger years, the guy was a stud.

Before this year's draft I wanted DK Metcalf. I looked the part. I also wanted a combination of either Hakeem Butler or AJ Brown. I'm ok with Deebo but not enamored. Also in 2018, how do you pass on Christian Kirk and James Washington to take Pettis on a trade up. It's like we think wrs grow on trees. Bourne wouldn't make an XFL roster. Pettis is inconsistent and I don't think Goodwin's heart is in it. Idk, I guess it's the Seaturds that got me seeing red.

he could atleast be a decent possession receiver even if he lost his speed. s**t Welker is on staff, im sure hes got more juice than these weak ass receivers do

It's pretty amazing. It's like we pick only guys who can't catch. This is the NFL. I could understand if you don't have the best WR corps and your guys aren't big, aren't fast, don't run the best routes, aren't physical or whatever. But WR's who as a group can't catch in the NFL? It's incredible. At a minimum should they not at least be able to do that even if they are not that good?

Or hits them in the face FFS. They need to put some butter degreaser on their hands before a game.

Dez Bryant on 1 leg should be better than what we have out there. At least he can catch a football and fight for the ball and play physical.
