HELL NO to AB.. Everyone needs to stop with the overreacting. I know we lost and it sucks and recievers looked terrible.. but take any top 2 targets of a team and they will struggle against good teams. Like take Kelce and Hill off Chiefs, Godwin and Evans off bucs, Gronk and edleman 2 years ago NE.. It hurts not having great depth but you cant have great depth at every position. Lets just hope Kittle and Sanders are back healthy asap
Should bring AB and Dez in for a workout to light a fire under these guys arse.

at least dez.. and the way kyle called out pettis would make you think he is done with pettis. but no. we will stand still and of course when you stand still you lose ground

You know our wide receivers are bad when you realized without Sanders and Kittle our most reliable receiving threat was argubly Dwelley.

Dwelley is a good football player with outstanding hands. Something our WR corps lacks. What he lacks is speed. He is a perfect #2 TE with Kittle providing the speed and breakaway ability.

I agree that Dwelley is an ok #2 TE, but when he is your most reliable receiving threat, then you have a serious issue at receivers.

We are in WR desperation mode. I understand he is a poor teammate, extreme head case, and at odds with Sanders. Still, we've had this in the past and were very successful with Haley. Not as much without him.

If the cap fits and he's able to play, I say sign him. Would it be legally binding to put that clause in to say the contract is pending his availability in 2019, if not it will be null and void?

We looked like absolute crap out there without Kittle and Sanders. I'd rather have him and all his baggage than what I saw on offense last night.

I thought he was meeting the league last, or was it this week? Does that determine his eligibility?

We're 8-1. There will be no desperation moves at all.

But I will say that our lack of quality receivers will probably prevent us from making a deep playoff push
We drafted them cause they didn't drop any balls but they get here and that's all they do..
Can't help but think of how Shawn Poindexter would've panned out. ...

Actually I think Shannahan and Lynch just draft the wrong guys. They love smurfs who have quickness and separation ability. But in the NFL a big, strong, big frame guy who will go up for the ball, fight for it in traffic and has extremely reliable hands is super useful. I think they over value these smurfs with separation ability. When you start hitting on a game day they are not physical, avoid contact and have very jittery and unreliable hands.

He would catch the ball, get tackled, and be on IR the rest of the season.

I felt so sorry for Shawn when he hurt himself in the pre season. The horrible look on his face said it all.

It would be ok if he was on a leash and Navarro had to hold it and walking him around on it any time he is off the field and at large.
Wasn't this supposed to be one of our strengths?

It would have been with Taylor and Hurd and later with Sanders.
I dont know about worst... I'd say inconsistent
