Still very happy bro. I just was bummed after losing to Seattle. If I wasn't supposed to be upset over that, then I'm sorry? Niners are still a great team, no doubt. But that loss hurt. Just no getting around that. I'm over it. Time to take our frustration out on the other birds. Go Niners!!Originally posted by NYniner85:this team is 8-1 and fans are having a meltdown over a last sec OT loss....without our best offensive player, best WR, and expecting a kicker off the streets to hit two 40+ clutch FGs
I think the whole defense is "suspect" and hasn't played vs elite QBs can be put to rest...our defense is lights out. We need to get healthy on offense and we will be fine.
This is a playoff squad...let's be happy for once

But you know what? Even tho lots of bad happened to us this game, basically injury to Sanders with kittle out and a host of WRs that flat out couldn't catch (9 drops), Gould out with quad , adn worse yet, major injuries taking Blair out for the season , Sanders with bad ribs and DJ Jones out with groin.
Yet despite all that? We came within one missed FG of winning that game where the talent was lopsided due to our growing PUP and IR lists. We came within a heartbeat of winning that game , but for whatever reason Gould had a quadriceps injury and some unknown is kicking.
To me that is mind blowing,...all that bad adn we damn near won anyway. I salute our guys and the guts they played with. I hold my comments re: the 9 drops WRs. They were truly awful.
How Shanahan came so close to winning that game just floors me. I missed his scheming, but with the injury list as it was, it would have been pretty hard to do.
[/b]Robert Saleh
He almost won the game despite Kyle Shanahan. Kyle's offense gave up 21 points, the defense broke even with 6 allowed and 6 scored.
Shanahan didn't almost win anything.

Kyle is the head coach of this team, isn't he?

Oh I was upset, we had opportunities to win that game a couple times. The fact that it was that close of a game and we were already walking into it without good starts and had guys dropping like flies tells me we're the better team.
I'm pointing out the people thinking we're in trouble or some s**t. This team will be fine.
Damn right let's knock the s**t out the birds!

Personally, we lost the game because he called for that Shot Gun Inside Run play when we could have just given the ball to Mosterd on a simple in between the tackle run..
We lost the game b/c we missed a 47 yard FG. One we made earlier that game too.
Honestly I think Gould would've missed too. I have zero confidence in him this year.

Dude, I've been thinking this for a while. Everytime I watch him run I feel like he's our best back. Now that I've said that, he'll go out and suck lol

Maybe fans realize we could be dominate if we had better option at wr.that can be physical against teams like seattle and rbs beside Coleman who are bigger and does not get hurt every other 2 games ...
