So, disappointed? sure. Pissed at the WRs? a bit. Furious? Not quite there yet.

agreed...this team will be fine as long as we can get some of our starters back. These injuries are madding

Well that's not true, ya'll are acting like we got killed yet it took them to the last sec of OT to win.

SF was so depleted of talent that it just wasn't gonna happen. Our OTs weren't ready to play and should have sat one more week IMO. No kittle/Sanders and a kicker off the streets? Gould makes that kick and it's ball game.

We have issues, but in no way are we not ready for prime time players. Wilson was sacked 5x, had a INT & Fumble, and had his 2nd worst QBrating of the yr (their loss to Baltimore was the worst).

Hard to argue against shuffling the O line in that game. Staley and Mc were not ready, not by a long shot. Should have left the line alone. No way I believe Seattle defense is that good.
Dump Pettis, Goodwin, and Bourne

As far as the OL - I didn't think the reinforcements we were getting back, would be a major reason why we lost the game.
Sickening is the word I would use...not furious.

With all that went WRONG last night, Seattle could only limp into the win with a last second field goal in OT. The Niners LOST the game more than Seattle winning it.

Also...a loss was going to come. I'm just mad it was against a team I hate. That said, now Seattle becomes the team with a Target on their back. We keep the 1st place slot and now we need to get better and get MAD.

Oh BTW...Staley and McGrinchy had no business being out there last night. TERRIBLE decision by the coaching staff.
I agree that if there was any team I would've hated to lose to over any other team -- Seattle was it.

On a side note: Count me as honestly shocked we didn't try to use Richie James at ALL in the passing game. He has arguably the best hands on the team and we didn't put him out there for a single snap.

I know. They were not even close to being ready. Wtf.
SEA did not respect our deep ball at all. They were playing everything 15 and under jumping everything.

We have no deep threat.
Lots of things to talk about with this game but what concerned me the most was that was without a doubt the worst performance I have ever seen Staley play.

no they most certainly are not. What's annoying is we practice vs the same damn scheme. Our play makers and OL sucked balls no other way around it.

They couldn't run the ball and IMO I think it's gonna continue to be an issue. We need to get mostert the ball more, he seems to make s**t happen, there's no dancing around.
SEA beat us up. Simple as that. How does SEA always physically hurt us all the time.

bench Pettis for James at this point. Pettis is useless.
It's all about how they can bounce back. If they go on a losing streak we know they are mentally fragile.
Count Sunday as a loss. We are physically beaten right now.

Seriously? Cards are beat to s**t as well. That game was crazy in TB.

SF is still at home the next two games.
