Some dude on Sportscenter said the Packers defense has the advantage in this game. Isn't their D ranked like 28th? Lmao

Probably because they are rested. Well, the Panthers was rested and we know how that went.

packers d is s**t, they depend on turnovers. If Jimmy doesnt make the stupid f**king throw hes known for and if Kittle plays were moving up and down the field against them keeping Rodgers on the sidelines. Packers are overrated and just like the seahawks are hyped up because of their qbs

This team has to protect the football at all cost on Sunday. Rodgers is known for not giving it away and Jimmy has to match him for us to win this game.

Kyle and Jimmy both need to dial back the aggressiveness if the flow of the game is looking like a defensive slugfest. "Live to fight another day" needs to be the offensive mindset going forward. You can't give short fields and defensive scores to QB's like Rodgers, Brees, Wilson, and Jackson.

Take care of the ball!

After he cries, he will turn into Battle Cat and take the league by storm.

I'm pretty sure the Pecker fans still remember that play.

That was an all-time highlight play, but unfortunately it will always be tainted for me. On the previous play, Jerry Rice made a brilliant catch and run to set them up in relatively close range, but - oops - Jerry fumbled the ball away on the play. That should've ended the game right there.

Jerry was whistled down, no fumble. You can't say that we NEVER get big breaks from the refs. Just usually.

NFL Network has an article on what 2 teams will secure a bye in the NFC. None of the 8 analysts picked the Niners. A circle jerk between the Saints, Packers, and Seahawks.

All of those QBs have won Super Bowls. If the Niners want to change the national narrative... they have to win these next three games.

I see no reason why the team can't win any of our remaining games. We're more than talented enough to beat GB, BAL, and NO. If Kittle gets back we'll be in even better shape offensively when you add in Sanders and the emergence of Deebo.

The loss of Dee Ford is a big backhand to the face considering we were already down so many starters. However there's still Bosa, Armstead, and DeFo as our main pass rushing threats. I think we'll beat GB, but pressuring Rodgers is paramount, obviously.

If we play mistake free football we can beat anyone but on paper the Ravens game is a nightmare for us.

HIGHLY mobile QB.
Excellent running game.
Excellent OL.
Defense that's playing very well and very good vs the run.
Early road game on the east coast.

Really Lamar's rushing ability and the way the Ravens disguise things and make you chase is the biggest challenge. But it's any given Sunday.

Hopefully we're up to the challenge in these games but it starts Sunday night. Have to win the home game and then hope for the best on the east coast road trip.

I agree, the Ravens are a matchup nightmare for us. Their style of play is gonna give our defense fits the entire game. Really it comes down to being able to get to, and tackle Lamar. Whether he's dropping back to pass or takes off we've gotta do our best to tackle him and not let him break off big runs.

Green Bay's defense thrives off takeaways, so Jimmy is going to have to make good decisions when he's throwing the ball. The OL will need to give him enough time to scan the field and go through his reads. We beat them if we're plus or even in the turnover column.

I fear the Saints a lot less, pure pocket passer in Brees, no deep threat really, Michael Thomas and Kamara are both amazing players who can hurt us. I just think that everyone who plays us now will first and foremost go in to stop the run and dare Jimmy to throw. Forgot to mention that the Saints D is pretty good at defending the run, their pass rush is good, and they've got a good run D as well.

How good is Green Bay's receivers? Would be nice to screen pass the heck out of them. Want to get Richie James involved in the short passing game because he's so electric. Once or twice a game, Jimmy just has a brain f*art. If he can eliminate those, we stand a good chance. This will be a close game.
This game will come down to the line play.

Team Pass Block Win Rate:
1. Green Bay Packers, 68%
25. San Francisco 49ers, 52%

Team Pass Rush Win Rate:
9. Green Bay Packers, 49%
12. San Francisco 49ers, 47%

Preston Smith was my target as a FA this off season and the Smith brothers are dominating. With Joe Staley out and our OL trash at pass protection ATM, establishing the running game is paramount coupled with short quick passes like last game. Only one QB has a faster delivery time than Garoppolo but he's insignificant since he's a ginger and has no soul. With Ford out, Bosa will continue to get doubled and chipped. Damontre Moore could have a game here with 25% of the snaps since he'll most likely be singled or left with a TE/RB and because he's an unknown. Their Arby's can run and catch.
I'm kinda surprised the majority are picking the packers to win outright. We will always be the underdogs! Bring it

Not good...walking wounded right now. We have to find a way to stay healthy moving forward and get these guys back for the game hopefully.

Only guy i'm concerned about missing practice time is Deebo since he's a rookie. I would imagine he'll play since he came back from the injury Sunday but then again Kittle did as well and has been out two straight weeks.

If I'm putting money on it I think Kittle, Sanders and Deebo play.
Breida, Staley and Ford do not.

At least DJ Jones is back.
