I will say GB has given up like 500 yards on the ground the past 4 games.
If they can somehow get back to running the ball...

Unfortunately until the 49ers can start producing results commensurate with other teams' supposed weaknesses, these stats don't necessarily give me any more hope than usual.
I care more about the 49ers health than anything else. Give me a full health and Kwon, and we'll smash the Ravens, Saints, Seahawks anywhere.........
I'm sure the Packers rushing defense stat is accurate, but until the Niners make them pay like they did against the Panthers, I'll be cautiously optimistic. 3 straight games of barely a running game has affected my perception.
We'll see.

fooking Mullens had them beat last year.
They may have gotten better since then but we are night and day better.

also a Saints loss would be nice but Carolina sucks.
Saints lost to 1-7 Falcons, anything can happen. Really hoping Eagles step up at home.

Let's just face facts here, teams are doing whatever is necessary to take away the run from us and Shanahan has adjusted accordingly. The 2nd half of the Cards game was hard evidence of that. It will be this way until teams have had enough of getting beat by our passing game for chunks of yards.
The Cards also had a poorly ranked run defense, but shut us down in both meetings. More so last week than our Halloween game when we barely cracked 100.

all video evidence from the games have said otherwise, and its that we're just missing blocks and getting beat. Teams aren't doing anything fancy, we're just flat out getting beat at the line.

It's both actually. Blocks missed, stacked boxes and the offense isn't using as much motion as it was in weeks prior. But defenses are trying to take away the run, despite fans not wanting us to be a pass first team it's what we'll have to be for a while.
