Just remember it's a 15 yard flag for looking at Rodgers.

Their pass rush is pretty good too with ZaDarius Smith and Preston Smith. Not to mention they have a pretty lock down secondary to go along with their pass rush. This team seems pretty identical with the 9ers.

Of all the upcoming games, I think the most critical one to win is this one. The Packers by far have the weakest remaining schedule after playing us.

If we can knock off at least the Saints and Packers, we will be in awesome shape most likely.

I don't know, call me crazy but the Packers at home feels like a win to me assuming all our starters are healthy enough to go. I would rate the Saints and the Ravens as a toss up. Was watching a segment on one of the sports shows about the Ravens and the talking head's conclusions were that one of the ways to slow down Jackson was with a fast, disciplined defense, which we are certainly capable of playing. The big question mark going forward is whether or not Ford will be healthy enough to play up to his full capabilities. First his knee, now his hamstring. This defense is a lot better with he and Bosa both coming off the edges.
We need this game!!
Niners need to beat the refs, Rodgers, and the Packers to get a win.
We'll be in Rodgers face all day

I think Jackson has a lot of similarities to Michael Vick and I remember back in Vick's young days defenses would slow him down by blitzing their CB's. And that's something I rarely have seen from Saleh, I mean he hasn't had the need to. But I think that's how you would slow down Lamar Jackson too well IMO at least. KC and Pittsburgh contained Jackson pretty well in I'd go back and watch those tapes.
We won't be playing a run QB for the first time in 3 weeks. Thank god, our D should swallow Rodgers up. I think we get the run game going this week again too.
Rogers isn't a running QB but he knows how to escape and make plays. Hopefully our running game will get going again. Their defense is ranked 28th overall. 25th in pass defense and 23rd in run defense. We should be able to move the ball and score so as long as we contain Rogers this looks like a win.

Yeah, I started thinking this morning, part of the reason why Bosa has disappeared is because Murray and Wilson are seldom in the pocket by the time he beats his blocker. That would explain why he doesn't have a sack in three weeks. If we are about to play Rodgers, Brees and Jackson, Bosa should be back to the kind of production level we were seeing earlier in the season against Brees and Rodgers. Lamar Jackson is a real wild card. And Baltimore's defense is evidently no joke either.

We have the experience with Murray and Wilson now to combat what might be the biggest dual threat in the league since Michael Vick. There have been some in the media that discount the Cardinals and Murray. After seeing two tightly contested games with them, I think the Cardinals are for real. Kyler Murray with one year of experience is going to be dangerous. Once the Cardinals rebuild their defense, they will be a force to contend with.

Jimmy stood strong in the pocket against a heavy rush, often getting his passes out a hair before getting sacked. I'm not liking how soft our run defense is up the middle. Is it our Wide 9 formation or our players' lack of execution that are giving up the middle?

We got a lot of favorable calls and non calls against the Seahawks. A handful on Wilson no less. Lame to use the refs as an excuse

best talent? no he's not lol
I'm wondering if Rodgers is in front of a mirror practicing his acting. So he can put on his show to the refs with all the b***hing and crying he will be doing. Given the beat down he's going to receive.

Agree with everything you said athletic QBs give us trouble and while Rodgers can get to outside and make plays he is not taking off 30 yards for a TD. I think the defense will look more like it did against the Rams this week than it has the last 3 weeks against QBs that can run.

Also you are right about Cardinals if they build that defense and Murray stays healthy and grows as a QB they will be a dangerous team in a year or 2. For a QB like Murray though staying healthy will have a big part in his success since dual threat QBs tend to break down faster than traditional pocket passers.

I hear a lot in media about Packers and Saints being better than 49ers since they have HOF QBs and Garoppolo has some issues with turnovers, so the give the edge to Saints and Packers. I hate when pundits do QB to QB comparison because I find it lazy. What you need to think about is can our offense inflict more damage on their defenses than vice versa. I think when it comes to Saints & Packers our offense does more damage to their defenses than their offenses do to our defense and these games are more winnable then most people think.

As for rest of schedule the only games that really scare me are Baltimore and Seahawks. I think Jackson gives us a ton of problems and there defense plays well enough to win. As for Seattle I think with Kittle in the game last week it would have been a win they still have the ability to hurt people and that is last thing you want heading into the playoffs. Hopefully we can pull ahead far enough where we can rest some guys for that game.
49ers win 27 - 10. Book it
