I mistakenly thought their stadium was artificial fieldturf but the surface is actually Tifway Bermuda grass. If it's a rainy game for the most part you would think it'll level the playing field somewhat and lessen Jackson's dangerousness. However the weather may affect anything they still want to run the hell out of the ball.

Don't think they will but just saying.
Go 9ers!
They beat the Seahawks too, by 14.
They also scored 45 on the Rams when we only managed 20.
Different games different days.
It really doesn't mean a thing.
What matters is winning and Kyle and Saleh will out scheme Roman. We already know what he will do because he used to be ours. Saleh will just evolve and adjust to some of Roman's new tricks with Lamar and contain him. He just has to make his coverage confusing and have a spy and or a late rusher to keep Lamar pegged.
49ers are going to win this

You can't compare divisional games to other games.
Ravens lost to the browns whom we smoked.
We barely beat the cards twice.
As soon as a team is deemed unbeatable, they get beat.
It should be a great game and a measuring stick to see where we rank in the NFL.

According to his genius theory about how Baltimore beat the Rams by more than we beat them, well we murdered Cleveland and they got destroyed by Cleveland. There you go

Let's go Niners. Let's hit Lamar. And after that, let's hit him some more. Looking forward to the game. We're the underdog ... so what? We're the most disrespected 10-1 team. I want the Niners to play angry and play with a chip on their shoulder ... We're going to surprise a whole host of people out there

I think this game and the Seahawks game are the two toughest ones left on our schedule. I watched the highlights of the Saints/Falcons game and, personally, I think we deal with the Saints the same way we dealt with the Packers. Brees, Thomas, and Kamara are all really talented but I think our defense wins the day and it ends up being a beatdown by the 49ers.
Ravens game is much tougher to call. I could see it going either way but at the moment I am leaning toward a Niner victory, but that could just be wishful thinking because of all the smack that the Ravens are talking about themselves and how great they are and all of the media saying that Jackson is the best QB on the planet right now. He's put together a pretty good stretch of games, but they did get beat by the Browns. Rams aren't very good this year so its not really a surprise that they got their tails kicked.
Seems to me there was a lot of talk last year about how great Mahomes was and what a stud the Chiefs had at QB but that hasn't kept them from losing four games this year. Mahomes is terrific but at some point the league always catches up. I also seem to recall that we had a dual threat QB of our own a few years ago who some people were saying had the chance of being the best ever, and he's been out of the league for three years because his dual threat turned out to be his right leg followed by his left leg. I get that Jackson is a far more dynamic runner than Kaepernick and is probably a lot better passer but for all of the talk about guys like him and Kaepernick and Vick and RG III and Randal Cunningham, its the skinny weak armed guys like Montana and Brady who turn out to be the real stars so I'll reserve judgement on Lamar's greatness until he's played a few more seasons. Go Niners!!

I'm sure he'll come back with how the Ravens are a different team since week 7. But so are the Niners. They didn't have either starting tackles and no viable receiving option on the outside when they played the rams and still beat them by 2 scores.

What you are missing on is the 9ers were in fact still trailing behind with only 39 secs left on the clock. And we are talking about a team that is last in NFC West with a losing record. And now, we have to deal with a 9-2 Ravens team with an even more dynamic mobile QB who has blown out multiple teams including quality opponents.
What you really are saying is that we got *no chance* at winning this game. That's just as idiotic as saying we got a 100% chance to win. Sorry, I ain't buying what you are selling.
And you are saying? We will win this game? Where is the disconnect here? And what is your prediction for the season? Unless you are saying we are going 15-1, then enlighten us and let us know where your losses will be coming from then?
They got blown out by the browns and we blew out the browns. The disconnect is that you don't know division games are different than any other games on your schedule. Their players don't know our player and vice versa, which means more chances of random things happening.
This game 50/50 at best for the ravens. We clearly have more talent, a better scheme on offense and defense, and they're a one trick pony. The pats did figure them out towards the end of that game, but that fumble by Edelman killed them. The ravens are not some monster, and on god Greg Roman is the last thing from a genius lol. We might have 6 rings right now if he was just a little bit smarter.

Greetings. Lifetime Baltimore season tix holder here, going back to the Johnny U. Days of the Colts.
I have enjoyed reading this board this week. Some pretty astute commentary mixed in with the usual "Doh" b/s seen on every fan board.
Here's my condensed talking points:
1) The 9ers are a damn good team. The O, while not what one would call "explosive", is more than competent to compliment the strength of the 9ers which is the D.
2) The Wide9 tech that the 49ers often use is a double edged sword. Like most all schemes, there are strengths & weaknesses to it. The speed of Bosa & Ford may be a problem for RT O. Brown. However, the off tackle gaps created by the alignment leave room for Ingram/Edwards to run. Relying on the LB's to shut that down means the LB must beat blocks by the Ravens TE trio + FB Ricard. Maybe; maybe not successful.
3) Every week the opponents board sounds the same regarding shutting down LJ & the Ravens O. I ASSURE you that the 9ers do NOT have an LB or a DB who is quick/fast enough to routinely "spy" or shut down Jackson.
4) Kittle presents the most problematic for the Ravens D. The LB's are not great in coverage. The Ravens D is running with 50% different personnel than what started the season and was playing during the KC & CLE 1.0 games where the Ravens got gashed. The Ravens tend to s**t the bed at least once per year against inferior opponents, hope it was the CLE game.
5) No one of football intelligence is dismissing this game as an easy "W" for BAL or SF. Most recognize the quality of both teams The few lunkheads on the Ravens board exist on all boards; yours included.
6) Expect a good game, hopefully no serious injuries on either side. Good luck the rest of the way.

if it's a rainfest, this will favor the ravens. They are at home, they run the ball better, and can stop the run better.

Your's and the previous poster's take is my kinda way of thinking.
We are 10-1. When we got the -1 we were missing a few crucial components. Now we are not. We are playing a two trick pony team. We have a few more tricks then them and a very clever defense coach. 49ers WILL Win.

Kyle says the rain slows everybody down. He usually doesn't like it as our team is built on speed, but for this game only, he wants it to slow down Jackson.
