perhaps the two best teams in the nfl duking it out in the mud and the blood and the beer?/ come on.. its great!

Freaking Grant Cohn with a great breakdown....

He gets a lot of hate around here (rightfully so), but he's turned into a solid football analyst. Can't deny it.
We must rattle Jackson. And I believe the Niners defense is good enough to do that. I'd be really surprised if they didn't. I believe this comes down to if our offense can get going. There again I think they can. So Niners win. And also for the record, screw the Ravens.

In response to the poster who is on my blocked list. A) The Chiefs/Colts games wasn't a Super Bowl being played by a team that in its long and storied history had never lost a Super Bowl it had appeared in. B) I'm a 49er fan why should I give a s**t about who wins a playoff game in the AFC, or why. C) Big games often come down to a series or even a single play. Preston Riley in 72 or whatever year that was, Kyle Williams muffing not one, but two punts in 2011. The team would be 11-0 this year if their substitute kicker hadn't shanked a last minute field goal attempt. Are there other factors that occur during the course of a game that will impact the outcome, of course. But in all of those instances I just mentioned the game turned on very specific moments. 49ers were first and goal with their offense on the field and a chance to win the game and they couldn't get it done. The defense simply wasn't part of the equation at that point. Championship teams win championships. I think we had a championship caliber team we just didn't have a championship caliber coach or a QB on the field with enough experience to make the difference. Just my opinion of course.

New year, new team, new coach. The more I read about how "unstoppable" Lamar Jackson is the more I am hoping that the 49ers will kick Baltimore's ass. It will be a tough game but at the moment I am leaning towards believing that the red and gold will come out on top assuming Kittle, Sanders, Breida, Ford and Jones are all good to go. Oddly enough I think a healthy Jones could be a real difference in this game, especially with the Ravens having to go with a rookie center. Go Niners!!

Storied franchise way to dodge the question. You can't truthfully answer because it contradicts the logic you're applying to our SB loss.

By your logic the SB MVP didn't matter. He wasn't part of the equation for the only 4 plays that mattered. How could he possibly be the MVP

Some of his breakdowns are pretty good. Not up to the level of Jonnydel and thl408 though.

D has to be tight on the edge and watch the passing down the middle.
Someone tell Bosa that Greg Roman said, "You watch him for a couple plays and you have him figured out".

Yes, I took it out of context, but don't tell Bosa.

This is some of your best work to date.

It sure is. We are so lucky to have Jonnydel on the WZ. We will have the most educated fan base in the NFL soon.

I see the 9ers getting healthier everyday.

I'm hoping that Fox puts this game on their morning schedule.

I have faith in Greg (Big Twinkie) Roman... panicking, some questionable play calling, dozing off up in the booth, brain farts
