I'm really surprised NFL teams still haven't figured out how to defend the triple option attack.

Rams not even trying to tackle. No pride.

Yea it isnt that difficult if your disciplined. Not like it is surprising they are running it anymore

It's hard to replicate an option in practice and they're really good at it and they're the only team that does it. It's damn near impossible to prepare for.

It'll get figured out eventually but maybe not this year. Good thing for us is if this end up a SB rematch we'll have played it once and will be better prepared. Also BB will get his chance in the playoffs.

It's not that hard to replicate in practice. You do it without actual exchanges which is the hard part. It's more like teams dont practice it much and players play to much hero ball it seems in the NFL

yep eventually
Man...Rams couldn't even make Ravens work tonight. So much for them being beat up and tired. We're more banged up than they are by far.

I want to believe but I'm very worried about Jackson and our ability to stop their running game.

Our offense needs to be perfect in this game.
Here's my take! It would take a perfect game to be Baltimore next week! But here is what will happen--We need the Patriots to keep the #1 seed and knock off the Ravens and we hold serve and meet the Pats in the Super Bowl and win number 6!

Here are a few reasons why the "Lamar Jackson factor", makes the Ravens offense virtually impossible to stop.

1. He's a whole new breed of "mobile QB". - He's not just one of those that scramble around playing backyard football. He is the actual catalyst of Greg Roman's whole running scheme. This fact is unprecedented, and made possible by Lamar's ELITE running vision, allowing him to take angles like he's Alvin Kamara. No team has been able to solve this problem yet, not even the Patriots.

2. Ravens have top tier running backs with Mark Ingram, and Gus Edwards. You add Lamar as their 3rd RB to this core scheme, and you're left watching Greg Roman putting opposing defenses on ice skates.

3. Lamar Jackson can MAKE THROWS. His arm strength is elite, and he can fit throws into tight pockets like the rest of them. Making their RPO, the best in the league.

As a football fan in general, you have to appreciate Lamar Jackson, the dude is changing the game. Michael Vick himself has gone on record to give the props. The Niners defense is going to be completely stressed to play their absolute best, fundamentally sound game against Greg Roman and Lamar Jackson. To be honest, I'm hoping for the best, but I think we drop a close game on the road.

Ravens 33
Niners 30

10-2 and still in good shape.
Bump
I usually always want the 9ers to play against the good teams at their full strength and, I also never wish injury on anyone.

With that said, I wouldn't be mad if Jackson had jury duty or something come up next Sunday
