My apologies. I should have quoted the other guy. He said the 49ers need to remain at least one game up, but then talked about controlling one's own destiny. A one game lead for the 49ers in week 17, thus, is irrelevant. My bad

Rat Birds haven't faced a complete team like 49ers...Shanny gonna pull s**t out of the book no one seen before...their D ain't good enough to stop it

Lamar's passer rating is gonna stink. Sure he'll get his rushes, but it won't be enough in the end. John HarBoneHead isn't going to know what hit him, Roman will look stupid in the booth like days of old

They'll simply get out coached in this one...Shanny already studied Harbaugh's facial when he calls a pass play, the body language of left tackle when it's a rush play, which direction Lamar looks when he ties his left shoe, etc.

These are the same Rat Birds who lost to two sorry ass defenses. They've been on a 7 game win streak and faced a real good D in Patriots, that's a lot of tape on their young QB and slightly above average defense.

Kinda...Never this good!

Kap at his best was never the passer L.Jackson already is, and he's a better runner than Kap too.

Recall what Kap ran during the Packers playoff game???

It was a lot of north south running for Kap against an aging and slow defense. Lamar runs like a gifted RB with lateral movement and he so far has proven he can pass and pass exceptionally well at this Level.
How did this Ravens team lose 2 games? Who beat them? They look like they have no weaknesses.....

Hit everyone even if they hand the football off. Make them question the play. Gotta be a sure tackler!

Top fundamentals in championship football.

We cant miss tackles and need to make running gaps smaller for Jackson. I cant imagine even our dominant dline only bringing 4 up front to even contain any scramble. I also wouldnt be surprised if we only rushed 3 and a spy like Ward on LJ and drop 7. I like that strategy actually. We need our most agile db shadowing him on the line and sometimes blitzing Ward up the middle without disguising.

No doubt! Jackson killing the Rams when they go full blitz with no safety help. We gotta trust our front 4 to be big and get some tackles.

I think they will be a little hung over for the Niners and will find it a totally different challenge. This Niners team is plucky and has some pride. They are not going to roll over like the Lambs. I will acknowledge that the Ravens look fierce. Should be a Super Bowl preview this Sunday.

Haven't heard (read) that in years. Thanks, great memories of the 80's.

...but I hope the niners don't shoot theirs on Sunday. I would rather beat the Saints.

Simple, if the hawks win out, they win the west.

Uh, we are currently in 1st And win the west if we win out. Curious how they are in control of their own destiny And we aren't...

Have to mix coverage's. I also would have the d'line hold positions rather than rush. better to make him throw, keep him in the pocket.

One more time, I agree in your concept however THEY have the tie breaker advantage and that is HUGE! If the niners lost to anybody else we wouldn't even be talking about this.

not sustainable, dude will get hurt

He hasn't really been hit that much.... yet

He's right though. The Ravens style of offense just isn't sustainable forever. They rely upon Lamar breaking the game with his legs, and he's gonna end up hurt eventually. He will end up like Cam, perpetually on the injured list and Cam had a bigger frame albeit he was less agile. Roman doesn't ask him to do much passing and although it is true he's improved as a passer he is far less effective via his arm than his legs.
