What really kills me is that there are so many bad quarterbacks in the league and Jimmy still doesn't get enough credit. Who's better than Jimmy? Rodgers? Brady?
Haskins? Stafford? Carr? Goff? Fitzpatrick? Big Ben? Foles? Prescott? Cousins? Brissett?

You cannot tell me you would take them over Jim.

If we can contain Jackson we have a good shot at winning this game.

Some Jimmy G #s

5th in TDs
12th in yards
15th in passing attempts
7th in Y/A
6th in comp%
10th in QB Rate
6th in GWD this yr

OH and 10-1 as a starter this yr

Pretty solid numbers imo.

Especially for his first full season as a starter. I couldn't ask for much more. Arrow is up and the sky is the limit.

lol problem is that's a BIG if.

We definetely struggle on D against mobile QBs. Baltimore takes it to another level with Lamar Jackson and what they do with their run game. They go with a lot of big personnel groupings which would probably hurt us with our smaller linebackers.

Our DL will not be able to do what they normally do against more immobile QBs.

Hopefully Rams beat them up a bit tonight or at least make them work the full 60 minutes...if the game could go into OT that would be even better. We have to go cross country to play at their house but they'll have one less day to get right.

Hopefully we come in with a great game plan and our offense plays mistake free ball and scores a lot where our D can play an imperfect game and we still have a chance to walk away with a W.

Great thing is we beat GB. If we have to lose another game this season then Baltimore is the game to do it...but I'd love to keep it going and have another back to back east coast road game trip where we come away 2-0 from it.

Have to force them to throw the ball...stack the box get dirty in the trenches.

Gotta have Tarrt or one of the LBers spy on Jackson as well. Ford/Kwon would have been big for this game (maybe Ford plays).
49ers by a BILLION

49ers 75
Ravens 4
How good is their defense?

Browns put the nuts to them and they don't have big LBers.

We HAVE to run the ball this game. That's my issue, SF hasn't shown the ability to be consistent with running the ball the past couple weeks. IF we can get it going a little they will bite on play-action. Their pass D is pretty avg.

As far as Lamar goes, he's gonna get his rushing yards. I don't see him throwing all over this team, not at all. IMO he's not at the level as Wilson or even Murray as far as a passer goes. Playing those guys will help.

I'm expecting blitzes & taking away his first read.

Will be a good game for sure.

He's definitely running with the best of them. I genuinely don't believe he has hit his peak at all yet. He is going to get better - especially as we get better WRs.

I'd say Wilson, Mahoney's, Brady (he hasn't looked Too good this year though for the first time ever but still good enough to be 10-1 and is still Brady), Brees (until proven otherwise you have to give brees the edge).

Man I didn't realize how many of the greats are really old now

avg. I think they're better vs the run then the passing game...they're bottom of the league as far as getting pressure on the QB as well.
You think the Ravens are looking past the Rams at their tough game against the 49ers next weekend?

Should be a good test for the Ravens next weekend to see if they're legit contenders.
