We just have to hope that the Seahawks lose on MNF to the Vikings, which is definitely possible, so that we remain in the lead of the division regardless of what happens in this game.

I know that they're good, but every team can get beat. We're going to be throwing a lot more in this one because they have a good run defense. Shanahan will run it enough for PA to be effective, but I doubt we will have a ton of success.

yes our offense are not bad at all. However, I don't remember a team can score a TD in EVERY SINGLE DRIVE at will, without taking any advantage of turnover, in an away game vs an opponent with a winning record fighting for wild card desperately.

Ravens look like a fine college offense.
They are having their moment. Oh, like the Chiefs Did last regular season. We'll see.

And I am so tired of this trope about Donald being the best player in football.
Rams blow.
Go Niners.

Chiefs are far more one dimensional..........Receiving only. Even Hunter got mostly receiving yardage. And their D was not even close to Ravens'.

Mahomes is similar to Wilson. Jackson is a different beast.

The Ravens have a hard running game and a running QB like how Kaep used to be 5-6 years ago. Our D has to contain their run game.

But essentially they are a two trick pony Jackson and Ingram Jr. Shut them down. Win the game.

Agree, but you have to outscore teams like this vs trying to shut them down. If you can slow these teams down, and also have an offense that will generate points, you have a shot at winning.

All running QBs come with expiration dates, much sooner than traditional QBs.

We will have a tough time beating these guys next week, away game, early game, and on and on.

More interested in the Saints game.
AGree. Kaepernick looked invincible for a while there, and then got injured a lot because of the battering running QB's generally get. Look at RGIII's knees, they are pretty much artificial and have been shredded numerous time. They have an advantage going with the game at their house, but again, what counts in the super bowl, and all anybody has to do to get a shot at the super bowl is to make the playoffs first.

Ravens are just on another level right now. They've steamrolled everyone they've faced since they made some defensive adjustments after the Browns game.

Yeah, will be interesting to see how they do against our defense.

He's right though. The Ravens style of offense just isn't sustainable forever. They rely upon Lamar breaking the game with his legs, and he's gonna end up hurt eventually. He will end up like Cam, perpetually on the injured list and Cam had a bigger frame albeit he was less agile. Roman doesn't ask him to do much passing and although it is true he's improved as a passer he is far less effective via his arm than his legs.

Haha. The Browns beat them ... the BROWNS! The doom and gloom are just too much.

Yeah.... if you look back, you might find Jackson couldn't even throw a couple yards no too long ago.....at the year of 2000.

What I've noticed is that teams seem to be so scared of Lamar Jackson's running ability that they leave receivers running wide open all over the place. I didn't see Jackson make any difficult passes, they were all wide open. Reminds me of when Kaepernick's first year. The threat of the run probably gets defenses to cheat up toward the line. Kaepernick looked good passing because he didn't have to make difficult reads, he'd see a receiver get open and throw it as hard as he could in a line drive with little to no arc. The NY Giants and Ravens seemed to have figured out Kaepernick, and both teams had outstanding defensive fronts at the time. The Packers and Falcons did not, and got gashed by Kaepernick's big runs.

I'm not sure which of the Raven's 2019 opponents we can compare ourselves to, but if we are only rushing 3 or 4 linemen and getting pressure, I think we'll have more discipline than teams that blitz consistently. Armstead, DJ Jones and Buckner will be key to keeping rushes up the middle contained. But Fred Warner, Greenlaw and the safeties will need to lock down the edges, which will be much easier said than done. I'm not sure how good the Rams secondary is, but surely we won't have as many blown assignments as the Rams did tonight.

To add to this, the Ravens have only punted 4 times combined over their last 4 games.

Rams offense made it easy going 3 and out on their opening possessions. What's more impressive is Jackson's damn completion streak percentage. He went 9/9 at halftime and it's happened in multiple games. If Niners can control time of possession they can win.

I have more faith in Niners winning than I do for ViQueens

I really hope they do win, but Cousins chokes in Prime Time and Minny don't do well in Cheattle
BAL double teamed Donald which forces rams to blitz and play man.

I would like to see BAL double team one of our DL and see what happens with the other three.

We won't be playing man. It will be 4 man rush zone and man coverage on Lamar.
That loss against Seattle looms larger than ever because of the 49ers tough ass schedule. I can't stand the fact if or when this team loses at the Ravens they will fall from 1st place to 5th in the playoff picture. Flat out losing to Seattle will be by far and away the low point of the season.
