How did the other Center hold up though?
Just fine lol the Rams suck though. All teams do is double Donald our DL is miles better than there's overall.

IMO use 4 man rush - keep him in pocket. Take away first read with LB spying him and run etc, and see how it goes.

This game is scary. No getting around that. But if we play like we know they can play we can win. Go Niners!!!

The Ravens strength is our greatest weakness. This does not bode well for us. The early start doesn't bode well for us. Being on the road in Baltimore is not good either. That's a lot of hefty disadvantages. It's supposed to either be raining or snowing all weekend in Baltimore. That's gonna add another layer to this thing. I honestly don't know if that helps us or hurts us more.
The Ravens are blowing out other teams with winning records, they almost dropped 40 on the other top three defense they faced. Their closest non-division game was the Chiefs game at Arrowhead earlier in the year. They lost but if they hadn't gone for it on 4th and on two-point conversions it would've been a win for them no question. The least amount of points they've put up this year is 20. Ugh this game has me worried, and it's only because everyone else is so close behind us in the NFC. If we had beaten Seattle, I'd feel a lot more OK with us dropping this one. But we didn't, and now we're in this position.
For the life of me, I don't know why the Rams continually brought 6 rushers against the Ravens. They made it so easy for Jackson to find open receivers. Going to change my score prediction and go wild on this one.
49ers 22, Ravens 20
Gould kicks five field goals, including the game-winner, silencing his critics.
Wilson/murray are QBs that run Jackson is a running qb...it's not the same.

The Ravens have now blown out just about everyone including:
Seahawks - 16-30
Patriots - 20-37
Texans - 7-41
Rams - 6-45
Then, you add to the fact that we can't defend against mobile QBs? Doesn't exactly bode well, does it?
They also got blown out by KC and Clev, so what's your point?

We'll give them fits like no other team has. Toughest matchup yet, but to think we can't win is seriously pathetic.

DL is better overall but they aren't build for speed. We've already seen Bosa struggle to keep up with super mobile QBs in Wilson and Murray. Armstead and Buckner aren't exactly speed merchants so really its just Dee Ford that can run down a guy like Jackson and we have no clue how healthy he'll even be.
On paper this isn't a super awesome matchup for the 49ers.

This^ Take a look at the Pittsburgh game which the Steelers lost because of a untimely fumble. Pittsburgh kept them in Check for most of the Game.
Rushing 4 playing disciplined on the edges is the Key.

Jackson is a quarterback that is an amazing runner. He is every bit the passer that Murray is and then some. You keep trying to make him one dimensional like he's Tim Tebow on steroids but he's a far better passer than you are giving him credit for.

this, Im starting to get tired of their act. Baltimore as a team are feeling the hell outta themselves, they need to get humbled real f**king quick
This is when I'd like to see some good old fashioned 80's football. Imagine Jackson running the way he does while mr head hunter Ronnie Lott is casing the backfield?

Going into the 4th quarter, the Pats were down by 4 and the Seahawks were down by 7.

I watched both the Texans and Rams games, let's just say I don't have much doubt the Ravens will win the AFC.
I would not crown their asses just yet. Never say never when the road to the SB in the AFC means going through Belichick and Brady. That is no automatic win despite the result of the game they played earlier in the season.

I would plow into Jackson on every RPO, whether he hands off or not.
