First off, I wasn't commenting on who's better between GB/Baltimore.

I was talking about you trying to put down a GB win because it fits your ongoing narrative BS. They were a 8-2 team and have beaten 5 teams that are +.500. They have one of the greatest QBs of all-time on their team. They most certainly are a good team. SF just happens to be better.

Baltimore lost to the Browns, so I guess they suck if you're gonna throw out that LA loss. Saints lost to the Falcons so I guess they blow.

That's all well and good, but the Ravens are a higher class of team by far than any team we've faced all year. After watching GB's ineptitude on Sunday, it may be that the Ravens are the first good team we've played all year. The Ravens are also just a terrible matchup for us on both sides of the ball. We're not a good run defense and we've struggled containing mobile QBs and that's not a recipe for success in this game.

I've generally been optimistic this year and have felt we've at least had a chance in every game we've played this year, but this one has blowout written all over it.

Dudes. Maybe we win. Maybe our defense is the antidote and our offense puts up 50. But the Ravens are crushing playoff teams. Crushing them. They're at home. They're favored by Vegas by six right now. Losing to Baltimore, even losing big to Baltimore...are not hot takes.

Exactly. Rams fans probably thought they had a chance before the game too.

Dude, pretty much everyone here has said the ravens are a great team and we may lose. But we aren't pulling out excuse after excuse about why the Niners aren't as good as their record and stats indicates.

SkittleClownShoes is just here to get people worked up. It's obvious he doesn't know much about football.

The only team worth any salt that they crushed IMO was Seattle. Texans aren't very good and that Pats game wasn't a ass beating.
They're a very good team. Top dog in the league IMO.

You're correct it's not some hot take...I don't think SF is gonna get smoked though (like someone is claiming).

This emoji confuses me now. Is it 'liar' or 'really excited'? Kidding...KittleSkittle man, your definition of optimism is a little different from mine.

That's what I'm saying! SF is legit OUR defense has forced two QBs to get benched because we were that dominate (Mayfield/Rogers).

SF is currently the #1 overall D.
SF leads the league in sacks.
SF is top 10 in QB hits
SF is #1 in TFL
SF is #1 in hurry %
SF is #2 in pressures
SF is #4 in total TO.

Let's stop with the b******t. This defense is fast and f**ks s**t up. There's no p***yfooting going on with the defensive side of the ball.
Our offense is currently 6th overall. We're #2 in pts per game (30.2). We're STILL #2 in running the ball and are starting to show we can pass the ball as well.
This is gonna be a good game. period. SF will come to play and anyone thinking we should roll over and let them have their way with us need to GTFO.

Let's GOOO!!!

Called this a mile away - (week before green bay) "Niners embarking on the toughest schedule stretch in recent NFL starting now!" (After green bay thrashing) " No actually GB wasn't good after all, ok they start on the hardest schedule NOW!"
Not that our team had anything to do with making GB play horrible. Meanwhile Niners keep rollin' .

If GB had not also just gotten blown out by the Chargers, I'd agree with you, but when a team gets blown out and does nothing on offense in 2 of their last 3 games, maybe they're just not that good?

The Rams blow. Goff hasn't thrown a single TD in the month of November. They're barely a 500 team this yr.

I'm sure you had them beating SF though

I am picking the Cards to beat the Rams. Rams have fallen off a cliff.

this, Im starting to get tired of their act. Baltimore as a team are feeling the hell outta themselves, they need to get humbled real f**king quick

Exactly, I want to see them after they lose.
Agreed, they're so high on themselves at the moment. A humbling defeat at the hands of the 49ers is exactly what the doctor ordered. I could smell the overconfidence through the TV screen whenever they got into the endzone.

If it's not raining on game day then that bodes well for their run game and our passing game. Jimmy will need a big performance through the air in this one. The Ravens run defense is their biggest strength on that side of the ball, but their secondary is vulnerable since they play mainly man coverage. Jimmy will have to check out of plays when they blitz, and hit his hot read. This should get us some explosive plays and set us up to score.

Nah, I thought we'd win against the Rams. I did expect their offense to be a little better though.
I see the Ravens lost their starting center last night. That could be a real chance for Jones to penetrate and blow up the play before it gets started.

One last time, this statement:

They, not us, are in control of their destiny

Is wrong. We are both in control of our own destiny, as are a lot of teams. You also said they are actually in 1st, which makes even less sense

OK, we will see.
