SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs BALTIMORE RAVENS - Week 13 PREGAME

For all the hype Lamar gets, he doesn't strike as much fear in me as most. I have watched him this season and he has developed as a passer but is not a great thrower, not even close. Everything is predicated on how unique their run game is and obviously he is a huge piece of that. Have seen him struggle against some below average defenses.

He will get his rushing yards but we have to take it away a couple of times. I think we will pick him off 1-2 times. We pressure exceedingly well without having to blitz. People hyped his performance against Seattle but it was all his legs. Warner and Dre have good sideline to sideline speed.

We limited Russ and he's playing at a higher level than Lamar. I think people will overlook us again. 1-2 INTs and a fumble for Lamar. Let's f**king go.
Anyone have the Ravens defensive numbers?

I'm a little scared for this game, one cause i don't want to lose to give Seattle a chance to take the division lead. But they do play minnesota. So maybe there is a chance for them to lose too.

Also, im worried because lamar is a mobile QB, probably the best one in the league ATM.

But we have had a few good tests on these, maybe we'll be more prepped and have a better game plan?

We needs the defense at its best for this game.

we also need as many offensive weapons for this game at our disposal as possible. sucks we prolly wont have Ford again...his speed is godlike.
I think we have to sell out against the run as we did to stop Aaron Jones, we didn't play much wide-9, we played the Seattle 5-man front as we did last year against GB yesterday. We have the speed and talent to stop the runs and make Jackson beat us with his arm. We just need to stay disciplined, Bosa can't have any of those wiffs on play-actions like he had yesterday. If we play sound contain defense we will win this, quote me on this...

Niners 17 Ravens 13
Ravens favored in the early line. I could see this drop to 3 1/2 or 3

12/1 1:00 ET At Baltimore -4.5 San Francisco 46
What are the chances of Bosa catching Lamar?

They're a slightly above average unit, 10-15 range. Decent against the run, worse against the pass from what I have seen. Limit the TOs, we don't have to blitz to pressure, I think we can spy on Lamar most of the game, I don't think he can pass on us. Just keep Lamar in front of the defenders, we won't have to turn our backs into coverage, eyes on him all game and if he beats you with that arm, you can live with that.

Well on the plus side, if i heard correctly, they mentioned us of getting staley back possibly this week?

As we saw Skule getting worked, and Brunskill got the nod to take over. Looks like he did well.

Upgraded since acquiring Peters though and they create turnovers which is our weakness. They can be run on too so I think we'll put up points. Question are can we stop their run/ how much do we shoot ourselves in the foot?
I see a blowout on the horizon. Just not a good blowout

We sell out to stop the run. They will still get chunk plays because they are well coached and have such a varied run game (as do we) but I think that we can live with that. I know it sounds like a simple plan, most have tried and failed. We are the second best rushing team in the league but lag behind them by nearly 60 YPG, that's how damn good they are but I think we will be watching how the Rams front deals with that run game and our coaches will have something for them. We have had some bad run D games but if we can get an early lead, it will be a key to getting them a little bit uncomfortable.

Turnovers and an early lead on the road. I think Lamar will throw at least one INT when we are pressuring him.
Here are a few reasons why the "Lamar Jackson factor", makes the Ravens offense virtually impossible to stop.

1. He's a whole new breed of "mobile QB". - He's not just one of those that scramble around playing backyard football. He is the actual catalyst of Greg Roman's whole running scheme. This fact is unprecedented, and made possible by Lamar's ELITE running vision, allowing him to take angles like he's Alvin Kamara. No team has been able to solve this problem yet, not even the Patriots.

2. Ravens have top tier running backs with Mark Ingram, and Gus Edwards. You add Lamar as their 3rd RB to this core scheme, and you're left watching Greg Roman putting opposing defenses on ice skates.

3. Lamar Jackson can MAKE THROWS. His arm strength is elite, and he can fit throws into tight pockets like the rest of them. Making their RPO, the best in the league.

As a football fan in general, you have to appreciate Lamar Jackson, the dude is changing the game. Michael Vick himself has gone on record to give the props. The Niners defense is going to be completely stressed to play their absolute best, fundamentally sound game against Greg Roman and Lamar Jackson. To be honest, I'm hoping for the best, but I think we drop a close game on the road.

Ravens 33
Niners 30

10-2 and still in good shape.

Limiting TOs will be major. Peters has looked much better since his move there but he is so feast or famine, guy takes some major gambles and I think Kyle will get him to bite a few times due to how aggressive he is.
