Interesting that he didn't throw it deep much in the ram game. Then again, they were ahead most of the game.

It's cause they don't want us embarrassing the top teams in prime time anymore.
Man we're in the luckiest position to compete against these guys. They're coming off of a short week turnover after muscling over an apathetic Rams team waiting to be put out of their misery, and since we've already faced Russell once, and Kyler twice, we're gonna know how to prepare for Lamar.

The Ravens o-line has not fared well against "WIDE-9" or 4-3 influenced defenses, so everybody needs to go look at the Chiefs game they played, that's the codebreaker. If Dee Ford plays, Lamar will struggle on 3rd down. We're the only defense that can blitz without having to blitz, we will leave tons of spies on the sideline.

If any team is built to compete with the Ravens, it's us, and we will give them our best shot! Our players have lived a 1,000 games a week lately.
Arizona blitzed Jimmy a lot... Didn't work out great for them

The biggest thing the Ravens did defensively was blitz more.

They've been doing that all yr. They blitz more than any team. They have to generate pressure that way because their DL isn't amazing IMO. Overall much easy to play D when you have a massive lead and you know the play is more than likely gonna be a pass.

Here is the source my friend

Baltimore wasn't getting home with a traditional four-man rush and that was exacerbating issues in the secondary. So Martindale did the sensible thing and start calling more blitzes. A lot more blitzes, in fact. In that Week 4 loss to Cleveland, the Ravens had blitzed only 10 times. The following week, that number jumped to 16. In the game after that, Baltimore blitzed 30 times! Since Week 4, the team's blitz rate has not been below 40.5% in any game.

I specifically remember the broadcast saying that Baltimore is the most blitz heavy team in football last night. Must have just gone balls to the wall after week 4.

I know in past yrs they've been blitz crazy as well. I'll tell ya what that's not really sustainable to blitz that much. That will bite you in the ass at some pt.
The only QB that can hurt the 49ers D is Kyler Murray. Mad respect to Lamar, but Lamar is a new breed, he's a mobile 'system' QB, he isn't like Kyler or Wilson, those dudes have instincts while Lamar sticks with what he knows by design for every escape route he can run. Kap was the same way in Greg Roman's offense, and Seattle figured it out quick. Thus I really think Sherman comes up big Sunday.

Lamar is amazing, but people are gonna figure him out when that o-line has a bad day; when his receivers are covered, and 2 linebackers are rushing off the edge, with big daddy coming up the middle. Anybody can be beat, it's all in the details.

Haha they say silence the critics...what critics? The media is all over LJ nuts
Re: Unstoppable force vs the immovable objectThe 49ers are built to shut down the passing game. They're decent against a conventional running game, but the Ravens are operating their next-gen running attack at such a high level that the best defensive minds in the league (Belichick, Crennel, Phillips, Carroll) haven't been able to stop it. Robert Saleh seems like a pretty good DC, but I don't think he's better than the guys we've already given fits.

One guy saying jimmy g like Goff can't handle pressure lol.

Jimmy G is worlds better when pressured than Goff. I tell ya big media makes narratives and people who don't follow said team look foolish.
Love this one...

Told you Raven fans are completely looking past this game as an easy match up.

Yep. Niners = steam- fu**ing- rolled

Say goodbye to your defense stats my little friends. S**t is about to get real

I hope the Ravens drop another 40 this week and its another 30 point differential.

Silence more critics. The 49ers have a good D Line for pressure, if the Ravens attack the edges and run like they did last night they do not stand a chance.
