It's time to bring the Ravens back to earth before they get lost in space.

I think it's great for us that nobody expects us to win this game.

We may have a chance now.
The 10-1 team that should've been 11-0 has a chance against the Ravens because they lost their C. Good to know.
lol
Records mean nothing when it comes to match ups, the game still has to be played. You can't tell me this doesn't help the Niners.
Imagine if we lost Weston Richburg for the season? That would be a devastating blow.
Whether or not they have their C isn't the deciding factor for us having a chance at winning. It helps, but were pretty darn good.
DJ Jones made a mess of the Packers C the other night so the Ravens better have a good backup.

Every offense that scores a ton is "unstoppable" until it's stopped.
The greatest show on turf was, "unstoppable"
Michael Vick was "unstoppable"
The 2007 Patriots were "Unstoppable"
RGIII was "unstoppable"
Cam Newton was "unstoppable"
The Chiefs were "unstoppable"
the Rams were "unstoppable"
All those teams got stopped from winning a super bowl......

Agree that gives our team a mental edge—not that they've lacked an edge anyway

I never once labeled him that. I don't think he's the same caliber thrower that Murray or Wilson is. I don't see a ton of tight window throws, I see a lot of first read throws to open guys.
He's improved from last yr, but he's still a running QB that's what makes him special.
I dont think lamar is a great thrower also. I say keep him in the pocket and dare him to challenge our secondary, sherman and eman will be waiting. Against the rams he might have thrown 5 TDs but barely threw for 169 yds and ran for almost 100yds.
Judging from last night against the Rams, all I saw were easy passes to wide open receivers. If we are not busting our assignments in the secondary, Jackson is going to have a much harder time passing on our defense. If he can't find open receivers, that may force him to hold the ball longer or start taking off on ill-advised runs. We basically need to make the Ravens one-dimensional. If we shut down the pass, then we can commit more to stopping the run. That, is the key dilemma. The Rams couldn't stop the pass or the run lol. If Sherman, Moseley and Witherspoon can lock down the receivers, we'll be able to key on Jackson and Ingram much more.
One more thing I think may help is if we run blitz the gaps to prevent Jackson from reaching top speed. If we get him at the point of the snap and dropbacks, he can be on his heels instead of in full stride.

I don't blame Bal fans for being confident. They looked unstoppable for the last 3 weeks and they are at home.
I think we can win, but this is by far, the hardest game so far. Gonna have to play very disciplined football.

Yep, Every good has thing comes to an end. I'd really like to see if you could come out with a video of ways you think we would attack Jackson and the Ravens offense? Please ! Hahaha but yeah Steelers did pretty good defensively but apparently it wasn't easily to replicate since Pats and Seahawks couldn't limit him enough For the win

Love it! Exactly right! All the talking heads are irritated that Jackson is being compared to other people, that he's not like anything anyone has ever seen before.
You can add Kaep to that list his first two years...what he did to Green Bay and anyone remember this game in Foxboro vs. the Pats in 2012?

Its almost like they are treating us like a sub 500 team coming in.
We all know the Ravens are going to be a tough game. They just think its already a done deal and won't be close.
They haven't faced a defense like ours - they're going to get their ass handed to them.
Our defense is good because of talent over scheme. The Patriots are good more so because of scheme.

Gotta hit Lamar hard on the plays where he pretends to run. Trust the other 10 guys to get to the ball, but make him pay for his fakes. Same thing we saw against Kaep years ago.

Imma say this all week this week. G-Ro and his gimmick offense will once again get exposed on Sunday. Saleh is licking his chops rite about now, watching '13-'15 Seattle(which he was part of it) and Ravens defensive tapes. Baby oiling his head for a nice shine, because he's gonna have a lot of footage from his defense shutting down LJ and his offense.

I think we should be more concerned about if we will score enough against them. They have a damn good defense too, the best we will have faced to this point. By far. On the road. In an extremely hostile environment. Baltimore has one of the low key best home field advantages there is when they are good. Luckily we have KS but if we make too many mistakes this will be a problem. Can we keep up on offense is what I'm actually more concerned with.
The most points thr Ravens can score at any given time is 7 or 8. Can we do enough on offense to keep pace with that? That's honestly the matchup I'm most excited to see.
I was about to bring it up myself.
The fact is teams can't score against the Ravens.
I wondered why until I started looking into it. Their D-line is stout AF.
And this is what I found, their D-line might not be full of sack masters like our boys, but their line is built on size and physicality to stop the run. There is a reason why they are ranked 3rd in Run D when the 9ers are all the way down at 19th. Our D-line personnel types are totally different.
So, get this, how much do you think our DTs weigh? Take Buckner for example, the dude is 300 lbs. And their DTs? 325, 336, 340, 350.
And guess how much our own DEs weigh? Dee Ford 255, Bosa 266. And theirs? 287, 300.
While they might not be getting many sacks, they are nevertheless going to collapse the pocket in a big way. This is further compounded by the fact that the 9ers has the smallest/lightest O-line in the entire NFL. So, believe me, Jimmy G will be feeling it. But, that is not the end of the story, their back end aren't exactly scrubs neither which kind of explains when teams tried to throw on them they couldn't neither on top of not being able to run against those giants.
