According to Kyle Shanahan, despite not practicing, Ford still has a chance to play in Week 13.

As for Kittle, the team is just being cautious w/ previous ankle, knee injury.

The bad weather might actually help us by slowing Jackson down.

The 49ers were disrespected last week and went on to pummel the Packers. Now Earl Thomas is openly throwing insolent remarks our way, talking down to us -- hmmm... bulletin material is awesome. Love it. Can't wait to see what happens now. Might not help us win the game, but heck freaking yeah is that a bonus driving/motivating factor now. Thanks, Earl!

I mean, shouldn't we have a ton of footage of Kaep running Romans Wildcat...including games in his third season when teams started figuring it out?

I wouldn't mind a run blitz to that side on occasion just to catch them on a RPO call.

The purple cool-aid is strong right now. The entire Ravens team, fanbase, and the media are drinking that ish by the gallon. I'm going to repeat what others have said multiple times in this thread. We need to do what T. Suggs did to Keap in SB47, lay the wood to him on every RPO and get into his head.
He hasn't really had to make throws into tight windows during this win streak of theirs. Most of his throws are to his first read and they're wide open because of the stress their run game puts on the opposition.

It may take a while, but just like Kaep, teams will be able to figure him out.. HECK, I think the way to do it is the MICHAEL VICK FORMULA.. Let him be a POCKET PASSER and allow him to beat us w/his arm.
lol if you're mentioning Vick, you're obviously not paying attention to what Lamar is really doing. The scheme alone that vick ran compared to greg roman and lamar is running is not even in the same universe.
Don't be lazy, watch the video above. It's benchmark chess match vs the greatest coach of all time.
Oh I've watched he video... Lamar (IMO) is having an awesome thus far, but the minute he gets FULL attention from the league, he'll come back down to earth.. the minute he FEELS a lick, he'll be just another Randall Cunningham and Michael Vick.. sure he'll be good, but he wont be THIS good.

Great points. I'll just add, that between an great offense and a great defense - usually the great defense wins. Why? It takes (for example) all 3 elements for a play to work, good OLine protection/blocking, good QB throw to the WR, and WR makes a good catch. On defense, all they need to do is wreak one of the three elements above - beat the protection, confuse the QB, or knock down the pass. I.e. Defense only needs to win on one of the 3 elements to stop a play, from a statistical sense.Originally posted by OnTheClock:The 49ers were disrespected last week and went on to pummel the Packers. Miami Dolphins in 1984 is a great example of my statement above.

Here's my opinion on how to slow down Lamar Jackson. U leave on safety to spy on him all the play. Linebackers to slow to cover him when's running. IMO we play tart at the other lb spot and his main purpose is to spy on kackson

Yeah I remember the 84' Dolphins being "unstoppable"...George Seifert's 'D' harassed Marino all day long and they never sniffed a SB again.

Too damn bad we're just one game away from being exposed, apparently.
Once again reminds me of the clip of Bill Walsh slumped in the locker room before the Dolphins super bowl saying they have no chance against Marino and the Marks. "I don't know how we're even gonna stop them" to paraphrase.
I remain super pumped that the Niners are so obviously in the conversation this year that I'm letting the "prove it" part play out as a component of the season long marathon, as opposed to a match up that seems stacked against us.
This is the stuff champions are made of.
Go Niners.

What did the ugly ass ravens do to the 49ers in the Superbowl to win? Idk if shanny will look into that to see how to attack or limit what L.J. will do. I don't like the weather factor and I hate that I bring up the S.B. but damn that game has still been in my head and I hate the Ravens and that damn alleged murderer Ray Lewis.

Luv being the underdogs even at 10-1. If we lose so be it but if we win I wanna hear the other excuses that the Media would make. Only a Super Bowl win will cure all the bad wills.
