I think Kwon Alexander set the tone in preseason. It has carried forward. Finally, Warner is being recognized and Greenlaw will be a fine fill in.

Injuries suck.

Of course, Bosa is up there. Just like the Warriors suck this year without Klay and Steph out but they will get a high pick, just like we did with Bosa.

They went into the last game with the intention to rotate them throughout the game. Then an ankle injury to EM afforded Spoon more playing time.l in that game.

Let's not forget they saw Spoon all off-season and early in the year before his injury. And got to re-evaluate him against GB.
Sorry i sidetracked the thread.

I forgot to give a special thanksgiving thanks to our incredible defensive special teams.

Um, they are GOOD!

THANK YOU GUYS! Happy Thanksgiving!
Adam Peters and all of our scouts, great job rebuilding the roster the last 3 years.

Shame on this p**sy. I would cut of my left foot to have been born with half the athletic talent as this quiff. Quickly becoming my least favorite 49er of all time.
Kittle on O, Bosa on D, and all the dudes who stepped up as "next man ups"

For the big 5, who we can least afford to lose. I pray they stay healthy the rest of the season.

Jimmy Garoppolo
Nick Bosa
Fred Warner
George Kittle
DJ Jones

Obviously we saw what happened to the team when Jimmy got hurt last year. Our record without him is not good.

Bosa drives multiple OL into the backfield on every play. Without him the pressure from the line would be significantly affected.

Fred Warner is the QB of the D, has become the emotional leader after Kwon got hurt, and has a knack for punching the ball out.

We just saw what happens to the running AND passing game without Kittle. The offense cant move the ball.

DJ Jones is so dominating in the middle that our run D is significantly better when he's playing.

IMO these are the 49ers 5 linchpin players.

This is a fantastic list but Buckner should be there ahead of DJ,as much as I love me some DJ

I just think what Jones brings at NT is vital to the run D. The games he missed we just didn't have enough bulk in the middle to get any push. Our big goal line stands and 4th and short stops have always seemed to be led by Jones' lightning quick first step. He just blows up those short yardage runs.

Can't disagree DJ is the man. What a pick by Lynch and co.
I will go with some of the unexpected guys...

Emmanuel Moseley
DJ Jones
Brunskill and Skule
Jeff Wilson
Kittle.

Without him we lost one game and almost 3.

Nick Bosa because a lot had to fall into place for us to get him, and he's been an integral part of our defensive transformation.

This.
I will throw in coach Bobby Turner. Thankful for him.
Omg Joe Montana all the way
