The all22 isn't available yet, but here's the player tracking data from that 4th & 1 play. I've read some say that Kittle was open. I'm not so sure about that. It's close and from the tv broadcast you can see Earl Thomas jump the route. It would have been close.
fyi the pass play was not the original playcall. They checked into it after seeing BAL's presnap alignment. Kyle said this in his presser.
#29 is Earl Thomas

Should have went to Sanders to the outside.

On replay it looked like it was going to be an easy break up for the defense over the middle. Not confident it was a conversion even if he avoided the swat.

Also, in an unrelated note: The player tracking for Kyle Allen on the Panthers 4th and the season play at the end of their game is hilarious.

Jimmy's going to have to learn to make quicker reads. He also gets the ball out just a bit late a lot.

I think Deebo and it had the better passing lane

Possibly, it's all ifs and buts though. Really didn't matter after it was batted down.

What are you smoking? His one serious claim to fame is super fast reads and a lightning quick release. That is literally his biggest strength by a huge margin.

Yes, he is one of the best in the NFL in release time. But when he holds it...he really holds it. He has to pick his spots better.

Sorry I said that wrong, not his release but his timing in relation to the route.

Yes ON AVERAGE he is one of the best at this. Garoppolo's issue is that in the minority of times he holds the ball...it is disproportionately costly to the team relative to other QBs.
They would've gotten the 4th&1 if it wasn't batted down. Kittle got open 2 yards beyond the line.

That looks like a nice play for getting 2yds to convert.

Nah he gave us everything as advertised. A generational runner who also happens to be a pretty decent thrower of the ball. His talents combined with the new extra special protection of the QB position is going to make him a nightmare to deal with until he starts getting tagged in the open field and piles up some injuries.

Meh...At 6"2', 212lbs he looked small out there so his "generational" running is going to get him hurt sooner or later...no doubt and it doesn't add up to points either which is the most important point. The NFL has seen many running qbs...Cunningham, Vick, Wilson, now Murray and LJ but I don't see how he's going to change the way the game is played like a lot of his knob-slobbing fans are claiming. IMHO, he was less impressive yesterday than made out to be leading up to the game and our D shut their scoring down second half so what good was all his running? 101 yds on the ground...so what, they still had to win a squeaker with a last-second FG and they did so while risking LJ's health with all the running. John H. can keep running him for 100 yds/game but that just means their offense is not producing the way it should be and yesterday was a good example of that.

Plus provide a link lmao. That play was doomed the moment his first read was taken away lol
PERSONALLY,

It was just the wrong call.. 4th and 1 and you put your QB on a shot gun and you're doing the defense a favor .. their read and reaction will be easier especially since Jimmy doesn't run..

We were averaging 5+ yards per carry all day long, that was our game, so why not LIVE & DIE by it..

also, if you want to pass the ball, why not call a play that would be a quick development... Why not put his dad's (Mike Shanahan) Bread & Butter play known as SPRINT OPTION RIGHT if he really wanted to get a first down by passing the ball..

Shanny's gotta remember the failure in the SUPER BOWL when pressing to call for a pass play..
