Agreed. I hate losing, but that's the best running QB there is. Yet I still think we're the only team that can / will stop him.

The all22 isn't available yet, but here's the player tracking data from that 4th & 1 play. I've read some say that Kittle was open. I'm not so sure about that. It's close and from the tv broadcast you can see Earl Thomas jump the route. It would have been close.
fyi the pass play was not the original playcall. They checked into it after seeing BAL's presnap alignment. Kyle said this in his presser.
#29 is Earl Thomas

On replay it looked like it was going to be an easy break up for the defense over the middle. Not confident it was a conversion even if he avoided the swat.

Also, in an unrelated note: The player tracking for Kyle Allen on the Panthers 4th and the season play at the end of their game is hilarious.

Plus provide a link lmao. That play was doomed the moment his first read was taken away lol

Sorry to digress. But too hilarious not to post.

Should have went to Sanders to the outside.

Just makes the 4th and short call even worse.

You're right. Zero chance of Kittle getting this.

It could've gotten there, if you look at where he was aiming to throw, it looks to me way outside to Kittle's left where Thomas probably wouldn't have gotten to it.

It would've just taken a Herculean effort from Kittle. Don't love needing players to be Superman to make a play work.

I do think he's overrated a little, his talent though isn't deniable and he makes some great plays but there's no doubt in my mind he will fizzle out and go the Kaepernick route and not the Russell Wilson route.

I agree with this. As much as I hate that little Seattle turd, Wilson consistently hits on all (or most) of his passes. Lamar missed some easy throws to wide open targets yesterday. But then again, so did Jimmy.
Tim Ryan one of the niners radio guy said on knbr that it was very disappointing that pass got knocked down at the line of scrimmage on that critical 4th and 1 play because earl Thomas absolutely mugged George kittle and there would have been pass interference. Plus people say they should have run the ball but the ravens put all there big people in and stacked the box and if we did run it and get stuffed then what would people be saying. So I didn't have a problem to pass there but we didn't execute and that's disappointing to say the least but oh well its on to the more important game against the saints that we have to win!

Jimmy's performance was pretty good yesterday considering the conditions.

Time to close this thread and focus on the NFC.

Might of been pass interference on Kittle if the ball is not batted down.

Yes from the broadcast I thought that Little was open, clearly he wasn't, nobody really was...

There was nowhere to throw that ball. Defense easily reads Kittle over the middle and gets their hands up.
