Because they win their division.

Correct. The NFL rewards division winners with the top 4 seeds, no matter what records the WC teams have. This year, it would not be impossible for BOTH WC teams to have a better record than the NFC lEast "winner". It's not right, but that's the rules the owners want.

We have to play the like second best team in football, Seattle, twice per year. We have to play that Ram's front twice per year. Really got flucked with that week 4 bye. That loss at home to Seattle can't happen.
