Of all the 10 win teams in the NFL right now, I feel like our Niners are the least respected. I want them to win this game BAAAADDDDDDD.

The respect thing doesn't concern me, but maintaining our Home Field Advantage positioning is very important.

Can't beat us playing straight up. They'll throw it all at us, just hope Saleh prepares for that!

Speaking of trick plays, have we ever done a trick play under Shanahan? I seriously can't think of one.

Sure he does. Remember when Shanahan had GB's defense all going one way and George Kittle all by himself going the other way? Or when he had Luke Keuchly's head on a swivel for almost 300 yards on the ground? Oh maybe perhaps you meant trick special teams plays.
I think people notice we are forreal now. Dismantled the packers and came a field goal away from beating 2 of the top teams in the nfl. Our defense is the only one to slow down the ravens in the last two months etc.

We just need to mind our business and take care of
The task at hand and the rest will take care of itself

This. That bye week for a team who had their bye week all the way back in week 4 is HUGE.

I hope people keep finding ways to discredit us after this game...whether it's thinking Saints were banged up(cuz for some reason nobody cares about our injuries) or whether they still don't trust Jimmy G...

I'd rather people underestimate us. Honestly it's more fun when you can spot the idiots who clearly don't watch this team because they throw out hot takes like "Kittle can't block" "Jimmy G can't win games passing the ball" "They haven't beaten anyone"

etc...

I post on another message board and someone made a thread about Mike Tomlin being COTY front runner. I simply said, No, next question and instantly got grilled on if I think Shanahan deserves it.

You're fuking A right. But then I got a lot of "look what Shanahan did last year with backup QB, RB, WR"

People will climb through hoops to find a reason to knock this team down but facts are facts. Who knows how we finish up here but so far this team has been great. Hopefully they get the W this week and people still doubt them.

All the way to Lombardi #6 please.

And we need to stay healthy. I wish we had the division locked up by the time we played the Seahawks again since we always seem to get multiple injuries playing them. A good game to play backups

Does that mean Harris and Ward or Moore and Ward at safety?

Something that seems to be going unnoticed here is saints have great pass rush as well and can stop the run. Will likely end up low scoring affair with saints prevailing in the end.could see 13-10. Defense shines both sides offenses sputter.

lol.

what is so funny. the guy was right. the saints have a good defense and so do we. i think the game will be like last week. low scoring. three point game either way.

How are the Saints going to keep the game within 3 pts when Brees is going to be on his ass for most of it?

I just watched the Saints D face a bumbling, incompetent, Julio Jones-less Falcons offense who couldn't pass block at all, and they almost blew a huge lead.

NO has been solid on D all year, but so had the Packers before our matchup.

We scored 24 pts against PIT, 20 against the Rams, 17 against the Ravens, 24 against the Seahawks, and 31 against the Bucs, who all have top half of the league D's this year. The Saints aren't going to hold us to 10-13 pts.

I'm thinking there will be different packages for all of them to get moved around a little.

I imagine since Harris came in for Tartt in the Ravens game he's the guy. Hopefully he steps up like the other fill ins have this season. He had his good(fumble recovery) and bad(4th down missed tackle) plays last week. Let's get those bad plays out of the way cuz a QB like Brees will be looking for the weak link to attack.
I feel the disrespect some fans think or know really stems from 9ers irrelevance past few years.only team in division that have been a constant are Seahawks. Rams came out of nowhere to get to Superbowl but like most teams that aren't the Patriots or saints players get instant fame and even mediocre players get huge contracts to leave team. Somehow Seahawks have managed to stay relivant year in and year out. As fans you have to be able to screen out the nay sayers . 9ers and fan base know team is good so why worry about what others say

Harris + Ward.

Moore will be in on some nickel too.
