Will the 49ers ever beat the Ravens or the Seahawks in a big game that matters?

Yeah it's never been a QB in the NFL like Lamar Jackson. He's always the best athlete on the field no matter the opponent. His alien like speed, quickness, and movement scares the s**t out of grown men on top tier defenses. On top of that he's a good passer made to look great because of his fear factor.

We can beat them. They barely beat us by a FG at the very end of the game in a driving rain storm at their house. Only because they had the ball last. Plus we had some key players injured and not playing. They are totally beatable. They got to just stop biting on Lamar's fakes and keep the edge on the outside. Force him back inside. Let him fake all he wants. Keep the edge.
Sorry but am I missing something.......the 9ers beat the Seacocks in week 17 to win the division and a 1 seed. I would conclude that was a big game. With regards to the Ravens, hopefully we will find out. Not enough big games against the Ravens to draw a conclusion. IF, we play the Seacocks in the NFC championship we win.

That ravens game was kind of getting out of hand to be honest. If it wasn't for Harris stripping LJ ravens might pull away with two scores. I thought the heavy rain played to the ravens advantage. Forcing him inside and keeping the edge is easier said than done. How the browns beat them this regular season was somewhat shocking but i believe it was like in week 3

This sort of comment appears every year or two. Until the guy has played 3 years or so in the NFL I dont see how you can make this assessment. Look at all the guys who blew the NFL apart in their first year. In the second year Defenses have caught up with them. What with that and the injuries to running qb's I think we should hold back on the deification for now.

Playing the Ravens on a neutral field with a healthy defense, I like our chances
The answer is still."no."

As in."nope."

The big difference with Lamar is there's only been one other QB used exclusively like this that I can recall - that was Tim Tebow. I know he's a polarizing guy but it was similar in that it was a wildcat offense. Lamar has better speed and quickness but it's essentially the same thing. The biggest difference is the Ravens embracing that kind of offense full force.
The Broncos always seemed extremely reluctant to it but it was the same sort of media frenzy over Tebow. I remember the NFL network did a whole thing with former QB's talking about Tebow, the next year he was replaced.
Not saying that's Lamar at all, just that it's a phenomenon just like Tebow was where people oooh and ahhh because they haven't seen it before and it's so foreign to the NFL no one knows how to stop it or him yet.
It's like Shanahan said in his presser talking about Cousins - "it's always harder when you don't have a lot of film on a guy, cause then you're just guessing at what they're good and bad at, but when you have a lot of tape on a guy you get a pretty good understanding of what they're good at and what they're not so good at."

That's Lamar. This is basically the first year of this offense.

It's not unstoppable. It's not easy, but nothing in football is easy.
It also remains to be seen as his career goes, how does his body react to the pounding he's going to take doing this over and over again.
Think about how we worry about QB hits. Lamar has been hit well over 200 times this year, he's ran it 176 times, been sacked 23 times and then there's QB hits he's taken on passes.
That's a lot of hits on a QB. It only takes one to have RGIII in the game.

Truth.
HONESTLY, we had both games in our pocket... I just really feel that Shanny played his hands NOT TO LOSE instead of trying to be a BULLY.

Both Ds are overrated...
i'd feel better about playing the Ravens or Seahawks again with a healthy defense.

I must dislike this post.
49ers 35
MIN - 10
and their last score is a FG with 7 minutes left in the game.
It'll look close for the first 12 minutes with it being 7-7 and then things take a sudden and drastic turn in our direction.
