Dude is not my favorite, too bro-ey and a mediocre former player with no connection to the 49ers but this suspension seems overboard.

I don't think he was being racist,seemed more like a butthurt excuse as to why the 49ers lost to the Ravens,Ravens were the better team on the day and deserved to win,deal with it.

He was on Blame Gabbert and Jim Tomsula's nuts.....no sympathy from me, if he decided to say something stupid.. he could have just said it was hard to see the ball in those conditions and left it at that. He seemed like he was making excuses for the horrible decisions our defenders were making. YOU KNOW Lamar might keep it. WAY MORE so that other QBs.

Hell have white/light skin QBs with black gloves had advantages all this time?

edit- I don't think he should have been suspended... more so they should have just said publicly that hey were going to have a meeting with him. Can just say he'll miss this weeks game if need be.

When I was in the army a lot of the black guys I served with use to tease us white boys because we had to put on so much camo stick.

This is just dumb, is this really what the world has come to? I mean seriously I watched the game you have a black QB handing off or not, to a black RB, both of which have brown skin, the ball is brown, they being "black" are actually brown so Im sure the ball blends better than it would with two white guys. Duh!

I like Tim Ryan. It sounds unintentional by his take as a former player playing the game trying to spot the ball. He said nothing derogatory. But shouldn't have gone there.

Hope people take his apologies and have him back on.
