Wonder if he'll call Russell Wilson a cornball brotha next

like I said before... if there were other QBs who wore black gloves, who were lighter than Lamar (or hell just white).. we would have heard this before. He tried to be the front office's b***h again by making excuses for the coaching staff/players who kept making mistakes against Lamar.

Kap's skin color looks nothing like the ball, so this isn't a relevant counter point.

what the f**k does your little (incorrect) dig on Kap have to do with this f**king topic? huh? exactly. nothing.

the topic is about faking a defender out, zone read wise.

Lol give up your fake and misplaced imdignation
Ryan sucks as an announcer. Doesnt mean he should get crucified for these comments as racist based or racist-malicious.

The topic is about faking out a defender. And how do you do that? Camouflage and deception aided by the lack of contrast between the dark colored ball, against his darker colored hands and arms, against the dark colored uniform, and the lower light levels of a very rainy day.

The defenders guessing or decision making time is further compressed by Lamars quickkness, speed and athleticism. Did you really understand Ryans comments? In this case, it was spot on. You couldnt see the ball last Sunday And if you guess wrong, he's gone for a big gain or the running back makes a big gain. If you guess right, he still made a play.

same guy who says
"Lol give up your fake and misplaced imdignation"

says regarding zone read
"Kap is slow as fuq on the decision making and takes a while to get up to full speed"

as far as his agility... yes he's 6' 4 lanky as s**t, but still agile for his body type.

What was said about Kap and LJ was factually correct and not a dig on Kap.

LJ is a better QB and more athletically gifted than Kap. I'd rather have LJ as my QB than Kap.

DON'T f**kING CHANGE WHAT HE SAID.

just because you'd rather have Lamar, because he is more athletically gifted than Kap.. (as far as better, well we just have to wait to see how he plays in the playoffs)... doesn't change the fact at what Bluefalcon said.

"kap is slow as fuq on the decision making and takes a while to get to full speed" That's factually correct?

don't f**king quote me again, unless you are speaking truth.

You can post whatever photos you want, Kap and Jackson arent the same skin color.

Your argument that he would've said it when we had Kap is an enormous reach in the first place.

I did speak the truth chief. As reading defenses go and the decision making that the QB position requires, Kap is slow. Still worthy of being a starting QB somewhere, though. He has incredible straight line speed as your videos of a handful of plays demonstrate, but little of the escapability or field vision that LJ has thus far shown.

Big mistake. I totally disagree with everyone's take.

When you say it was because of Jackson's dark skin tone amongst other things such as the colour of the ball and the black uniform which made his ball fakes exceptional, you are essentially saying Lamar Jackson had an implied unfair advantage because of the colour of his skin. I don't know whether Tim Ryan meant it in a racist way, but people could argue so you are saying Jackson is only good with his ball fakes because he is black. And if he was white and his ball fakes still worked just the same it would be justifiable?

Look, in this day and age, if you have half a brain, you automatically stay away from anything that has to do with race and skin colour.

He didn't have to say it, he could have said yes it was pouring down, the sky was dark, the ball was dark and the uniform was black, that would have been more than enough to get his "hard to see" point across. He didn't have to add in Lamar Jackson's black skin tone. That was just pure stupidity. He had to be suspended, the 49ers Management had no choice in the matter. They absolutely did the right thing and thank God they did it in a timely fashion too before it got out and out of control. People would have totally laid into the 49ers organization.

I don't think Ryan meant to imply it was an unfair advantage. Merely an observation that it was an advantage.

May be he didn't "mean to", but whether he realized it or not, that was what he said and you could see how people could debate the point on "implied unfair advantage". Whether it was "unfair" or not, he still meant his black skin tone was an advantage. What if Lamar Jackson was white and his ball fakes still worked out to be just as good in this game? Tim Ryan would have mentioned everything he said minus the skin tone. So, all of a sudden being white is a disadvantage in this game? The point is talking about the skin tone advantage was just lame in the first place.
The black ball, uniform and skin were really messing with my eyes during the game.

oh yes of course.....again.. similar setting.

THIS IS WHAT THE f**k YOU WROTE!

"Kap's skin color looks nothing like the ball"
in comparison to Lamar.... as if Lamar is that ball color.. wtf?

Compare the relative ease/difficulty following the ball in the Bal game versus the Packers/Giants game with the white background in the snow.
