Free Tim Ryan

I am a dark skinned "minority" and did not find Ryan's comment racist at all. I actually thought it was logical and I think it was dumb to suspend him.

I am glad I moved back to Hawaii as race is not a daily issue for me as it was living in Cali. From my experience, The term 'minority' (which to me is submissive) is not typically brought up in the islands.

The only thing that sucks is that flying up to watch a game once a year with my family costs a fortune. Go Niners.

Kap is half WHITE, no where near the same skin tone as a true AA man. Kap also has always had the distinct challenge of his "white priviledge" to over come as well.

Never compare a real black man to a half white, oppressed suburb kid that had to over come the brutal life and death game of trying to survive the deadly streets of Wisconsin growing up just for the opportunity to get a free college education on the way to $140 million dollar contract........it's just not the same thing.

To me the issue is REAL. It's damn hard to find the ball on Lamar Jackson. Just watch the games. I have no idea where the ball is when he has it or when he does those fake hand offs and pulls it back. That is really happening IMO. I believe it is the Ravens very dark uniforms at play. At least their home jerseys. I can see it on him a little more on the away white jerseys. The same exact player. Lamar Jackson running around. I have no idea where the ball is on the Ravens home jerseys on a lot of guys. It really just blends in there. It's like completely hidden. I'm struck by that really watching the games. I don't know how people find the ball on Lamar Jackson. I can't. I can say that for sure.

Could you word that much more carefully? YES. Would it be best not to say what he said? Yes probably.

I don't believe the INTENTION was to be racist though. We live in an overly politically correct society where everybody walks around on egg shells censoring themselves and others about what to say. It's ridiculous. If you say things all day long every day sooner or later you say 10,000 things. So 9,999 of them are right. And you get 1 wrong. Who can live up to that standard? It's absurd. I don't think that was intentional but some people are taking it badly. Tim Ryan is a pretty good guy as has been said.

The ISSUE he actually raised is REAL. It's hard as hell to see the ball on Lamar Jackson. Just watch the games. I have no idea where it is when he does those fake hand offs or if he pulls the ball back. I think it is a REAL issue which has more to do with the Ravens uniforms than skin tone. But I don't see how you can watch the Ravens games and say it's not true. I have absolutely no idea where the ball is on Lamar Jackson when I watch the games. I'm struck by that for sure. On the 49ers red uniform I can always see the ball. I can't see it on the Ravens home jerseys well. I actually think it gives them somewhat of an advantage.

I thought this was about Tim Ryan?

As for what Tim Ryan has said, I don't find anything wrong or malicious there.

There has been a ridiculous and gross overreaction by some to what was merely a factual observation.

Some folks out there have a divisive agenda that has unfortunately and sadly been all too successful.
