"Kap is half WHITE, no where near the same skin tone as a true AA man."
again get yo trolling ass out of here.
Are you saying Kap is not half white?
Are you saying that a real AA man doesn't come from a AA mother and AA father?
Are you saying that a half white half AA man has the same skin tone as a non mixed AA man?
seious questions.
There's a Kap thread somewhere else on this forum. Please take this convo there.
Lol, agree, but this seems to be a "skin tone" thread not a Kap thread. I'm just trying to make sure I understand how we seperate where the tones end and begin.

Your argument that he would've said it when we had Kap is an enormous reach in the first place.
oh yes of course.....again.. similar setting.
this is the 9er game.. a higher resolution pic than your s**tty one.
Thats my point. You can find pics to prove the point either way. Unless you can prove that nobody had issues tracking the ball, partly because of that, how can you crucify Tim Ryan? He talks to the players.

The skin tone, dark ball and black uniform has ZERO to do with the success of his ball fakes. Why? The idea is not to play react by vision.
I didn't invent this, you just play the spy on the QB at ALL TIMES!! If he doesn't pull it down, then just let the D-line handle the RB. That was how the Ravens played Kap in our Super Bowl loss. The right way of defending a mobile QB in pistol is to play it if you were going to hit the QB in every single play, only you stop just when you get to him if he doesn't have the ball. You don't just stand there and scratch your head trying to work out where the ball is before you start running for cry out loud!!

Free Homeboy Ryan! Sucks for him, I am surprised about the suspension but I guess if the 49ers don't do anything they will get called out

Dont know why everybody so mad. Hes a professional and said something that pissed off his bosses. Everybody has to deal with that. Just because you dont think what he's said is offensive doesnt mean he doesnt have rules to follow.

What is this world coming to... He was stating a fact about how difficult it was to see the football. He should not have been suspended. Give me a break. People are too overly sensitive.
I was actually thinking the same thing...and was hoping if we play them in the super bowl they would wear their white away jerseys, but unfortunately the AFC will be the home team so I am sure they will choose to wear black again. Just our luck...
anyway...FREE Tim Ryan!!!

There's racism and then there's just straight-up stating facts. I personally felt he was doing the latter but maybe that's just my opinion.

Maybe so but we have to do whatever works to win. To me a racist is someone having and using their power over institutions to actively oppress others. Anyone without that power choosing to be discriminatory towards others are just bigots. When you use your power over others to me then that gets into racism. Rubbing on a bit of tan to gain a competitive advantage in sport ain't nothing to start picketing for IMO.
I don't know enough about Tim Ryan to say he is even a bigot let alone a racist. What power does he have behind a mic? Now I've known some team owners that have been racist with evidence to prove it. I don't label anyone a racist until I've seen the necessary actionable offenses. It's much easier to use the term bigot when it applies.
Tim should have known that there are folk looking to chew on anything that comes out of your mouth. He made an observation that in this atmosphere he should have kept to himself. I myself as a black man have never worn sunscreen and I grew up in Louisiana always outside and I'm in Texas now. I never burn and none of my relatives have even with all day exposure. That's just a statement of fact and none of my family has ever had skin cancer. That's primarily due to my dark skin.
I have plenty of pale skinned brethren or whites if you want to use that term that burn rather easily so they apply sunscreen when out in direct exposure for long periods. That's just the fact. Lamar has dark brown skin not unlike the football. That's a fact. Thing is my statement on my skin pale skin and sun exposure when said publicly can with a small percentage of folk be a highly offensive observation I made and stated. Even if fact some will be offended and label me a bigot. Sad to say and yet that is the team's fear for what Ryan said. They feel that some may take that and associate it with him being a 49er analyst spewing bigoted ideals.
I personally don't make much of what he said because I don't know Ryan to be a bigot but I do know that he screwed up because he didn't censor himself the same way I do at my job. He'll likely take a couple weeks off and be back at it with a year's probation. Nothing major here. He screwed up so he has to bite the bullet just as Stephen A did when he regurgitated what most black brothers tell their sisters when it comes to dating potentially abusive men and how the women should stay away from that conflict because if the brothers find out they'll catch a case getting justice. What he said was true in our community but it offended a woman who had been abused because she felt he was victim blaming

"African-Americans have darker skin than Caucasians."
Is that statement seriously racist to you? If it is, how do you honestly get through life?
I was called actual insulting things in sixth grade and was told by my parents and teachers to suck it up and stop being a thin-skinned tattletale. Nowadays full-grown adults can't stand hearing straight facts.

Yeah... it's getting ridiculous... so if we mention that some white guy has a light skin color will whoever says that get suspended also?? Give me a break.
