What absolutely shocked me was Brees. I honestly didn't think I'd see him rip a football like that ever again. He made throws that I didn't think he could make anymore. I'm talking arm speed and ball speed...especially falling away or moving.

That's the one silver lining for me. Got to see him carry this team the way he did. Felt like back in the day when Brees would put us in a position to win every week despite having year after year the biggest joke of a defense.

It also showed me that we could win this type of game in the future. Anyways, great game. Niners are very very good.

Yeah, he played terrific. And likewise. We just might see you again.
How have the rams ever won a game with Goff as QB...
Going for two so much cost him.

Probably not going to matter anyway.

If rams hold on Seattle blows that game in Carolina at noon or against the Cardinals, and week 17 could be a bye week for 9ers.

If the Rams win tonight, it would open up one (maybe important) option.

We have to beat Seattle Week 17, period, unless they blow a game in the next two weeks which I really, really, don't expect, but...

We could afford to lose one of the next two games, Falcons or Rams, without losing the #1 seed! The win over the Seahawks and we win the division by a game. We have the tiebreak over the Saints and the Packers. Boom, #1 seed.

I could definitely see them dropping the early game on the road to the Panthers. That's what I'm hoping at least. Hopefully Carolina will turn it around for at least one game.
Sean Payton has the 2nd most punchable face next to Pete Carroll
Regardless if the seahawks win or lose tonight, If we both win next week, I would rest players against the Rams because that game wont matter. You could lose that game and concentrate on week 17.

I'm totally hoping for that as well!!

No you can't. They would lose tie breaker if Seattle wins tonight and the 9ers lose to the Rams. They can lose the Falcons game, not the Rams.

I think there more of a chance they loose a division game to Arizona. Panthers are very bad right now!
Not that it's looking like Seattle will win
Faithful strong!

Am I wrong, or if Seattle loses, the 9ers could lose the next 2 games and still beat them week 17 and win the division?

I think we'd win strength of victory tie breaker with Saints win.
