side note: love seeing Sean Payton all pissy at their post game presser. That guy is a brilliant coach but I can't stand him as a person. Love seeing him eat chit.

Still annoyed the way he used us as pawns to get a bigger contract. I hope we meet in the playoffs and destroy them at our house!

Wasn't as bad as the Pats game but I couldn't believe Payton said "don't bring up officiating in this one" as if the Saints somehow got screwed. Man that guy is a DB.

How many block in the backs did they call on us that were so friggin borderline? Then they let a clear cut one go on the huge play to Thomas after another ticky tack call on Sherman keeping their drive alive.

No OPI call on Thomas ripping Spoon's head off.
No false start on their guard before the Cook TD play.

I believe there were a few others including some clear holds on their OL...figures they only call the one where they know we're going to decline it anyways.

Thanks! I love seeing these. Especially after games like this.

edit: man, that one got me right in the feels. So glad we pulled this one out.

Kamara has missed games and has not been fresh. The stat of only 2 TD's this year compared to 18 last year says something. I thought it was foolish of them going for the 2 point conversion. After that wild first half, Niners took their best shots and still were up by a point. Wild finish at the end, Gould struck Gold!

Only Payton and Brees could attack Harris and Williams (out) and Moseley (right after Sherman went out). Every tiny mismatch, they look full advantage of. Hats off to incredible game planning and in-game awareness.

Hard to believe yah I know, but it's like you guys all forgot the 5-0 run Bridgewater went on with the Saints. The kid just doesn't stand around in the pocket.
He beat the cowboys, bucs, jags and bears. Against Seattle, he had 170 yards passing and saints got easy TDs off turnover returns. Rest assured they would have lost by double digits with teddy 2 gloves

Yah I know, I read all about Bridgewater too, but I also saw him play that's the difference. He's got an effortless deep ball quick release and most of all avoids pressure fearlessly. I love the denial, it's like we weren't just pissing and moaning about the refs not calling penalties today, now imagine it being with some who can escape pressure with more athleticism!!!

They didn't sack Breeze and did not hurry him very many times so avoiding the pressure by Bridgewater does not really help the Saints in that regard imho.

In addition, ifs never are. If the Rams and us make a FG the Seahawks have 2 more L's. If We didn't have 2 starters out in the secondary the D may have been better. You say Bridgewater would have been tougher but what if he threw 2 picks and fumbled on one of those scrambles? It's all irrelevant because they're ifs. If I knew the winning numbers to the lottery I'd be dictating this to Geeves to post this for me instead of me typing it.

Saints are something else. Headhunting on Juice, tore Spoons head off for no call, no penalties until 3rd quarter while we get called for arm punches as block in the back, and your guys hanging off Kittle's facemask for 20 yards in what could have been really dangerous

And yet...SP has the gall to cry after the fake punt about interference because he doesn't know the rules as well as our special teams player, be pissy after the game about the "officiating" (bro it was mostly homecookin) and then Brees says how it would have been nice to have Cook like we took him out Bountygate style? Dude it was clearly not headhunting and a borderline call IMO anyway. They whine so much.

49ers have gotten jobbed all year with officiating, schedule and injuries but they have not complained or made excuses, just handled business and embraced the challenges as a team. Its been cool to see.

They were holding the dline on every play. Everytime the broadcast put up a snapshot, you can see 1 or 2 holds.

That's why no sack on Brees lol. It wasn't that he was getting rid of the ball lighting quick, that's just media hyping up Brees.

i gotta say that dude was pretty chill. Everyone else all hyped up and the guy understands it's not over.

But lol at not knowing John Lynch.

I think it's hilarious that people were calling the Spoon hit on Cook dirty.

It's pretty ironic that it's very similar to the play that happened vs Baltimore where some on here were calling out Spoon for not going for the hit(IMO he got caught trying to make a decision whether to go for the hit or play the ball cuz it looked like the TE may not be able to get it out of the air for the pick)

This time he made the decision and went for the hit. IMO it was a borderline penalty anyways and I still think that shouldn't count as a catch but it is what it is now. But I'm not sure how another football team who understands the game can act like that was an unnecessary hit.

I guess defenders should just try to let guys come down with TDs without trying to hit them or knock the ball out at all? It wasn't helmet to helmet. He got him with the shoulder.

It's absolutely nuts that Saints would be complaining about injuries or officiating in this game. I have no pitty for those s**theads. Were they complaining after the Ahmad Brooks hit years ago which probably cost us a SB? Didn't think so.

Yeah, at one point, the 9ers had like 9 accepted penalties and the Saints had 0. I want to say they got their first one on a holding on Bosa despite him getting a TFL anyhow in the 3Q so it was moot? And that egregious OPI on Witherspoon was an absolute joke as it would have taken 3 points off the board...they tried to make up for it later but no points were in question then. The amount of times Bosa and our guys were held (every week) is out of control at this point. I don't know if Kocurek needs to teach these boys to soccer flop or what but in many cases, it's right out in the open clear as day and still, no call. And how many times do these QB's get to snap the ball a full second after the clock hits 0. Sad. TBF, I did see a couple tacky calls for us too but it always seems lopsided and many keep drives and points on the board for the opposition where ours end in punts.
Are Saints fans calling out Sean Peyton for his dumb decisions...lol

Failing early on the 2pt try to feed his ego. Going for the fake punt and asking for a holding call to bail out that stupid decision. And what the hell with the last timeout called...don't you usually saved that to ice the kicker at least.

Kyle out coached ego driven SP

Don´t let Kyle leave this building ever.

He seems to have grown since his assistant days.
I think he also learned some things not to do from his dad. Great coaches are geniuses with the Xs and Os but also leaders of men.
