Bad blood ? We shat on them for the majority of the 80s/90s, and have pretty much broken their hearts over the last 10 years when it mattered.

It's not a rivalry at all.

Yeah, when was there bad blood? We have owned them forever.

I'm seeing people in the media, and many Saints fans patting themselves on the back for how "close" they played the 49ers. So yeah...we just beat a 10-2 team in their house and they feel like it's a moral victory.

So I guess all that dumb crap about us "not being legit" is over with.

More than half of this board was doing the same s**t last week after the Ravens L

I could be mistaken, and I'll appreciate a correction from a rules expert, but I believe this play is legal. The league made jumping over the center a penalty, so teams adjusted to jumping a guard (after keeping him down).

Ohhh! I stand corrected.

But... I still hate the Saints...

I could care less what any outlet says or doesn't say about the 49ers, as long as the team continues to win it's great motivation for them. Plus, if they are able to get to the SB, and win it, the team will have said enough and can drop the mic on em all!

It's one of those where I think I heard some announcer explain it, but I don't know fer shur fer shur.

I never hated the Saints. Cowboys, absolutely. Giants, sí. Redskins jawohl. But then I'm old school.
Aints played their best game on both sides of the ball and they lost, we played piss poor on D and good on O and won... they were lucky to stay within 2 TDs of us

Niners and Rams will always bring it out. I don't see much of a reason why you guys hate us. We were 2nd fiddle and worse for 2 decades until the divisions changed. I get the Ahmad Brooks game. But, I'd like to finally beat the Niners in a big game. Tagging the Rams and Niners in the playoffs would be sweet. Obvious statement from a Saints fan.

Hating them as a rival is actually not the best way to describe it. People hate them because of bountygate and Sean Payton. So you are correct, they aren't disliked on a rival level like the Seahawks. They are just an unlikable team.

Before the Seachickens moved to the NFC let alone the 49ers division it was always the Aints and the Lambs and sometimes the Failcons. The Seahags are just a new rival in the grand scheme of things and IMO don't mean much.

I hate the Cowgirls more.

Fan age may have something to do with it too. I effing HATE the Seahawks. The cowboys don't invite that kind of instant vomit because I've really not seen them at odds except on highlight reels.
But I stand by the point of the saints just generally being an unlikable team. Sean Payton is just a level 5 prick.

Seems to be a lot of hate and distain for 49er fans on your boards. I went there was very respectful, too bad it wasn't reciprocated. Obviously theres more hate from your fans than ours unless you feel otherwise by something you've seen here?

Until Mr bounty gate is gone and I'm not even sure after if the Saints will get respect. Putting money on hurting other players is just the lowest of low.

They do that to all fans. But the hatred for ATL and Carolina fans is real. I remember when Saints lost to Minny in the playoffs when that dumb DB ducked the tackle half the comments were from those bases talking s**t. Lol
Payton and Bountygate will always put them near the top of the "Don't Like 'em" list. It is what it is. One very dark mark on NOLA.
