⛏ SF 49ERS vs ATL FALCONS 🦉 Pregame Thread - 2019 Season Week 15

IF you're lined up as the last defense as a deep FS (cook TD) you have to tackle him.

agreed that sloppy s**t should get your ass on the butt bench.

Man...we're dropping bodies like crazy. Need to stay healthy and hope some of these guys come back for the playoffs.

Sherman, KW, Tartt, DJ Jones, Richburg, Ford wtf...

Hopefully Richburg at least is good for next season. Sherman and Ford probably out until the playoffs(need that bye week!)

DJ Jones is one I didn't realize happened.

We better have guys step up.
The way the schedule landed this year is really hurting right now. A bye after 3 games? Are you serious? Three games back to back with teams over 80% win rate. Two more games against potential playoff teams. One fighting for a wildcard spot and the other gunning for the divison title and 1st round bye?

May god have mercy on us lol poor dudes are dropping like flys. The good thing is our reserve team is gonna have to develop.
This game makes me a bit nervous. The injuries + coming off an enormous win + coming off a grueling three game stretch + having the Rams and Seattle coming up after this game. This team still has some talent on offense and they've played considerably better during the past five weeks or so. I know this team won't overlook them and the d-line has killed pocket-passers with questionable o-lines -- and I suspect that will prevail.

Winning this game makes it so the Rams game isn't a must-win, and given how the Rams are playing the last couple weeks and how healthy they've become, I think that could be very important.

I found some fans on that falcons ´s message board more pessimistic than us.^^
"I fully expect Boy Wonder to drop a 50 burger on us. Though he left on his terms, he will be out to prove a point with vengeance. It will be embarrassing. Some will cry. "
I am so tired of this I am nervous this and I am concerned that all damn season. Its every damn game. Can we be confident the day after a huge win against an NFC rival? Could we at least wait a few days before we pull the I'm nervous cards out jeez.

We have a 70% chance to get a bye FWIW. Also the immediate speculation about every injury is so annoying as well. I'm tired of having to hear how guys are gonna be out for these important games or how they're done for the year when none of us even know what the extent of the injury is. It's just gets poured on. Injury this trap game that must win this nervous that. Let's grow some balls faithful and bring some confident energy to these remaining games.

These next two games are going to be really tough without:

- Sherman
- Ford
- DJ Jones (maybe)
- Tartt (maybe)
- Richburg
- Jullian Taylor

While I agree that it sets up well for a trap game, the Falcons also have suffered injuries and lost their top TD WR and a starting cornerback this Sunday. Also, Matt Ryan is one of the most sacked QBs and throws a decent amount of pics. I was looking at the stats this morning. I am a little more concerned with the recently resurgent Rams who were having their way with Seattle last night. That one could be a tough game too. There is nothing the playoffs can throw at the 49ers they haven't seen on this brutal second half of the schedule.
Falcons suck, just because they caught the Saints sleeping on the wheel in cruise control to an easy division title and sweeping another division rival that's Imploding doesn't change that. Yes,every game is still a playoff game unless Seattle slips in another game, but this is a game the Niners should win soundly even with injuries

We can lose another game to the Falcons or the Rams and it won't change anything at all correct? Because we have the tiebreakers over the Saints and the Packers and it's going to come down to the last game against Seattle anyway. If the Seahawks lose to the Cardinals or Panthers then we can hopefully rest all of our injured players.
Good test for the next-men-up. After a sackless game vs Brees, hopefully we can stop the run and feast on Ryan. Our next-men-up in the secondary had better have their heads on a swivel vs those Falcons receivers. Ideally, we win like 38 - 13, but should be closer to 31 - 20.
31-17 Niners win
Rams game will be tough...
Matt Ryan has the game of his life.
