Shanahan has to make sure the team is awake for this game. It would be easy to fall asleep for the Falcons after a stretch of 3 tough games and 2 back to back road games. But they need to remember that they have to win, and the defense especially needs to get back on track and tackle well. Gotta wrap up Ridley and Julio if he plays.
Considering that if we win, no matter what, we'll clinch a playoff birth, I think we'll be tuned in.
i have to ask......
I hang out with niner fans for games all the time, friends, but what am I supposed to say to the stupid s**t they always repeat during a game?
they immediately scream their heads off at Jimmy for not throwing the ball the second the ball is snapped and panic watching him "throw the damn ball!" "get rid of it!!!!!!!!!"
and, it's 3rd & 20, we are backed up in our own 20, and we hand the ball off. they get mad at that stuff. lol.
what do I say? "you people dont understand situational football"?
Get different friends.
theyre people i only see during the games

Too many injuries for this to be a blowout I think. Although, the Falcons lost Ridley for the year. Score prediction:
49ers 31, Falcons 23
49ers 31, Falcons 23

We can clinch but the Rams still have a shot.

Yes, because the Vikes are the last wildcard team right now.

We clinch with a win, but the Rams can still take the 6th seed if Seattle or Minnesota continues to lose out and the Rams win out.

This. Our only competition is our damn health.
And maybe the Ravens, but mainly our health.

I want Sherman and Ford to rest for the remainder of the regular season and hopefully we can snag the bye and have them fully healthy and ready to go by the Divisional Playoff game.

That would be the ideal scenario. Really could use the Seahawks imploding and losing at least one more, so the last week is essentially a bye anyway.

Have we escaped a game all year without any "worrisome" injuries?

Most of our injuries have happened on the road, so hopefully coming back home will help. If we can get a bye and home field we wont be stopped.
