FACTS! plus many expect a dub against this team

The Falcons have won 3 of their last 5, and dropped 40 last week. No pushovers in this league. Shanny knows this, talks about it all the time.

Falcons still have Matt Ryan and Julio Jones which make them very dangerous on offense.

They have been playing well and teams with nothing to lose are always dangerous when they have talented players.

Hopefully despite our injuries we come out ready to play at home and take care of business. Need to make sure we're 13-2 heading into Seattle.

If we're lucky week 17 won't have anything for us to play for and we can make the decision whether to sit key guys and let them heal up with basically two weeks off.

carolina laid down like a dog cos their players were pissed rivera got canned...take the falcons' blowout win with a grain of salt

Yup, Falcons going down. I hope Carolina shows up vs the cawkSuckers.

Moose is another cowboy lovin 49er hatin c********r. Why is it that every national broadcast team has a former cowboy on it. Drives me nuts.

Another thought. Shanny is going to know all of Ryan's tenancies extremely well, so I'm betting he will be a big help to our 'D' this week.

If our Dline shows up Matty "Ice " will get his ass kicked on Sunday
Would love for the offense to have long sustained drives. Completely dominate TOP so our defense can rest up and heal as much as possible.

edit: or get so far ahead on the scoreboard we start putting the backups in.

Hopefully their players are more motivated then their fans. Most expecting an ass whipping. Or want Panthers to tank for draft picks.

I'd expect both the Falcons and Panthers fans are looking to the draft. Most likely, both the Niners and Seahawks win and we're in the same situation next week.

Would be nice if Panthers got a win
I guess only concern is Falcons' "nothing to lose" attitude in this game and that they've actually looked more competent recently, perhaps for that same reason.

Really looking for defense to bounce back.

We gotta run the ball well on offense. If we establish that running game we had against the Panthers or the Browns or whoever we'll grind them down. We have most of our key blockers for the running game so we should be able to.
Coleman to run wild!

It looks like a good year to pick up a QB, and the Panthers cannot seriously think they can put all their eggs in the Kyle Allen basket. Cam hasn't been the same since his injury last year, and they gain about $20 mil in cap space by parting ways with him at the end of the season. Not that QB is all that's wrong with them, but before Cam's injury they were a very, very good team.

It'll be emotional I guess, first home game after Rivera's firing...let's see if the players respond

Eh, I doubt we'll be able to run that much. Our defense is struggling but still strong in a couple areas, but the O is going have to carry us through December. Jimmy is slinging it around so well right now, so if it ain't broke don't fix it. Pass to set up the run later if anything. But I vastly prefer seeing Jimmy throw it all over the the yard than him handing it off all the time, it's much more entertaining. Plus he's much better at it.
