Wow seems like a lot of niner fans here and everywhere think we're gonna lose this game and lose out because a couple players are dealing with injuries like the rest of 31 other teams are. But whatever we're gonna win these next 3 games and make some noise in the playoffs. I'm not gonna let some negative nancies in the injury analysis thread who think were one and done in the playoffs (you know who you are) ruin my season. It's sad how people don't want to enjoy a great season but would rather push a "curse" narrative which is ridiculous. I'm gonna be at the game this Sunday loud and proud and after the game I'm coming here calling out all the people that think we're not a good team and that we're gonna lose. I can't wait

I'd be careful if I were you. Just saying.

We totally effed up on our predictions last week and we should have known. Drew Brees has the fastest Time To Throw stats in football at 2.53. This is why the loss of Ford was so huge. Lumbering players like Armstead, Jones and Buckner just aren't going to get there that quickly. Couple that with Saleh's off coverage of those quick passes and the natural holes the TE's can exploit in C3, it was the one time a "pocket passer" was going to destroy this defense. Throw in Payton against Saleh and clear personnel loses in Ford, Jones, Sherman, Williams and massive weak links in Harris and Al-Shaair, it was a rough rough game.
Now, Matt Ryan comes to town. He's an actual pocket passer with a TTT of 2.78. Only 7 passers are slower. This is a game the DL should get home with and with Ridley out. Should be able to double down and play a little tighter coverage.

Not to toot my horn (because I'm pretty much wrong as often as I'm right) but not everybody "effed up" last week. I certainly didn't "eff up" last week. I was one of the ones saying if we were going to win, it would take the full game, which it did. Saints are a great team.
Personally for this week I think we beat the Falcons but I think they cover the spread.

Haha. Congrats. Did you predict we'd have 0 sacks? That's where everyone effed up...thinking we'd get to Brees because he's a pocket passer (including yours truly). I should have referenced my own TTT stats. Ha.

I was saying it likely would be a close game as well...but if you told me that Brees threw for over 300 and had 5 passing TDs and 1 rushing TD I would've said we got our ass whooped.
Definitely didn't think our D would have a game like that. Hopefully despite the injuries it definitely won't happen again and it ends up being our Eagles game from 94(minus the loss of course)

I think we win by a touchdown and lead most of the way...at a min from second half on. They are out of the hunt and playing away. There was a little life in them a few weeks ago but we have so much more on the line.

Definitely not. Figured it would be a 20-something to 20-something game.

I didn't think the score would be nearly that high, but I did say we would win it by 3 with the clock expiring. I definitely thought we would get to the QB a lot more.

This isn't a trap game due to the injuries and what the next men up must prove.

There are no trap games now...we have to win them all to ensure home field. The playoffs started last week.

True true. It's a 49ers/Saints game. It had to come down to the burning wire. Good call.

This, the team desperately needs that home field and bye with the damn injuries. Especially if carolina pulls off a miracle early on during the day no way I see this team not on a mission to win the next 2 games making the seattle game meaningless and using that as a bye of some sort.
