With ATL having to travel across country and they aren't even a good team....Should be an easy victory. Don't really care about the familiarity between the coaches. There is a huge gap in talent level here.

They have handled Carolina all year. Blew them out twice. But they aren't about to travel to the West coast vs a great offense and historic defense and do anything significant. We might just drop a 40 burger on them

Yeah the Panthers lost their HC and the team overall is just wishing for he yr to be done. ATL has it's moments and I'm worried about all our injuries.
This is another must win IMO. LA/Seattle are gonna be rough games with both teams fighting for playoff hopes and seeding.
all in all it's pretty awesome to have SF talked about as the best team in football

Feeling a lot less awesome about this game than I was 2 months ago. On paper, the 49ers should be able to run and pass all over the Falcons but they've been playing inspired football lately. Could be another shootout, especially if Ford can't get go.

I mean they've beat the Panthers twice over the past month
is it inspired football OR have the Panthers pretty much packed it in? Allen is simply not an NFL starter and they're rocking Perry Fewell as the HC and Nov Turner's son is the OC
They had 4 TOs yesterday. Only reason I'd have any worry over this home game, is based on the health of our team.

You act like the Panthers are good? Their HC is Perry Fewell and their OC is Nov Turner's son (never called plays before).
They have a makeshift OL right now. According to PFF, coming into that ATL game Carolina had the 3rd worst pass-blocking efficiency in the league and have given up the 2nd most QB pressures in football.
The falcons have 10 sacks vs the Panthers this yr...they have 13 the rest of the season. That's how s**tty Carolina's OL has been.

Divisional games are always weird, Niners will be fine. 12-2 coming up
