This is the game I want to the 49ers to get back to the running game. Jimmy can sling it, we know this. But run dominance and clock control will ensure victory in December and through the playoffs.

We got back to the run game yesterday lol

This. Once the Saints realized Jimmy was beating them with his arm and started to give more favorable looks in the box we went back to running the ball.
Our secondary is kinda banged up.

Hope we lay it down on the Falcons and some of our guys get to rest.
"This will be a tough matchup as matt ryan is a former mvp and far superior to jimmy g.
Niners will be lucky to escape with a win, especially how awful our defense looked last week" the ghost of kittleskittle

Very good. Throw in some this is one of the hottest teams in the NFL, the coach knows Kyle better than anyone and we won't be able to cover Julio without Sherman and I'd say you nailed it

Classic trap game too, you forgot that.
They might want to prove to Kyle that he was the reason they lost... :| you never know....any given Sunday. Niners > Falcons 35-3
Calvin Ridley out for this game. Helps us a little since we're out Sherm....hopefully KW is at least ok to go.

Falcons will want to be a spoiler. That's all losing teams have going forth themselves right now. Either be a spoiler or help your draft slot which is kinda a win win depending on which fan you ask.

If our pass rush can get home and knock Ryan around a bit we shouldnt have too many issues. Just gotta handle business.

Saleh better be talking to Kyle all week about weaknesses in Ryan's game.

Shanahan also no doubt remembers Matt Ryan throwing him under the bus after Kyle helped him to the most successful season of his career. I think there will be some serious desire to make Ryan eat dirt.

Harold Landry would have looked pretty nice (instead of Pettis) right about now

Yeah but if they get Landry then they may not have Bosa right now. You can't just change one thing and pretend that everything else would have gone exactly the same.

Remember what a convoluted, unlikely process it took for the 49ers to just have the #2 pick. One more win and they might have Rashan Gary instead of Bosa righy now.

Even if Ford is healthy next year, another speedy rusher off the edge will be vital. They need to keep a ferocious pass rush.

Yep.

Go, Niners, go!

We won't need him this Sunday. Rest him up and get him ready for the Rams game

No way he's ready for the Rams either. I would say he's done for the regular season.
