Nope. Rams can still tie the Vikings at 10-6 and be the #6 WC, knocking Vikings out of the playoffs. So they will be playing for their playoff lives still Sat night.

Rams are toast. Have to win the last 2 and pray the Vikings lose their last 2. Both Viking games are in Minnesota- Packers and Bears.

No.

This loss made it very likely we HAVE to win vs. LA to get a bye — even if we win the division.
Injuries are just too much right now. Even vs a struggling team like ATL. Defense has been unable to slam the door when we needed it over the last few weeks. For ATL to drive down and get two TDs in less than 7 minutes is Next week is going to be tough. I never expected ATL to be able to travel across the country and beat us with us fighting for home field. But here we are...defense, for as good as they have been this year, has come up short consistently with the game on the line. That's concerning

If we won today Shanahan could've rested players next week because the odds of the Cardinals winning in Seattle are slim and none. That game would mean nothing next week unless the Hawks loss.

I'm really hoping when Sherman/Ford/Tartt/Williams come back that the defense gets better. That is my hope. I like to think it's not a coincidence things have fallen apart since we've lost all of them.
When is the last time Dee Ford took a meaningful snap?

Thing with Ford is...that's the guy you want out there trying to protect a 4+ point lead in the 4th.

Don't need him to play 80% of the defensive snaps but he absolutely is someone you need when trying to close out a lead or on big 3rd and long

that's what i said earlier today. that year justin smith had a torn pec and after that our D suffered.

Thought it was torn tricep. Also Aldon had an under reported shoulder injury shortly after super bowl. Our pass rush was disabled for the SB and it showed. Terrible luck.

Even if we had Dee Ford today, our rushers, all four of our base package rush, were all double-teamed. I counted 8 blockers. I think Armstead was the only one who came close to reach Ryan in that entire drive. This would mean in order to make an earnest attempt to sack Ryan, Saleh would have had to blitz at least one or two extra rushers to overload one side. As it stood, it was fairly easy for the Falcons to give Ryan a pocket to throw from at will. So I'm of the opinion, as I'm sure a lot of other people are, that staying in our base package didn't do any good when we had 4 defenders standing around in zone coverage. Ryan carved them up because he had all day to survey the field.

I had a sinking feeling we would lose when we just kicked the field goal with almost 2 minutes to go. Ryan is one of the renowned 4th quarter QB's in the past decade. Right up there with Brees. Being up by one score or less is just asking to lose.

I can't believe we paid him all that money and he never plays because his knee is sore. This is the NFL and we are fighting for home field.....

He absolutely would not have rested anybody vs. LA. That is fan talk and I'm no way linked to reality.

You should atleast know the actual injury that's keeping him out. It's a hamstring strain
lucky it's a short week so we can get this s**tty game behind us.
