LOOK FELLAS,
the team can either use EVERY EXCUSES there is (we're new at this so it's ok to slump; we couldn't get up for the Falcons; Saints game drained us out.. et etc etc ) .. but bottom line is, the season will be a waste if they fold now...
Again, all 3 losses, I blame it on Shanny..

They're a top 10 offense and Juice even talked about how they totally changed their defensive scheme for this game (the falcons did) it caught them off guard. We didn't really adapt to that I guess. One fumble (Breida) or missed INT (Harris/Warner) could have switched this around completely. Oh and 6 missing starters on D...for the love of god pickup Suggs.
Any given Sunday any NFL team can win, just how it goes.
true. i think their better than 4-9 however they were still 4-9. they are not a good team this year. good teams do not lose 9 games.
They've made coaching changes and since then have played a ton better. SF missing too many pieces on D and like I said gotta tip the hat to ATL for totally switching their defensive scheme around this week.

i just say.. you rightfully credit kyle for those wins but yes. with the losses. then you have to question some things he did or did not do, i think that is more than fair.

No excuses. Period. If you want to be a deep playoff team you not only take care of business, you take care of business at home. Yesterday I saw one team playing their ass off with 2 players destroying our IOL and secondary and that alone was enough to win. Saleh was exposed. Depth is exposed. Inability to run or stop them when we needed. Seattle took care of their business away. No excuses. This is playoff football.
Now, on to the Rams...a matchup that's not looking so hot either.

I have a bad feeling the Niners go 1-1 in the next two games but which one will they win/lose?

My gut feeling is we actually lose both. I don't like the individual matchups and divisional lines. The problem is 1-1 is no different than resting players and going 0-2. We have to try to win both battles and hope we still have enough troops to win the war. Big picture. I'm not advocating sitting players but just noting it's a tough predicament when you're thinking big picture here.

So many excuses and goal post moving. We played like s**t and didn't take care of critical business at home. No excuses. Just move on and hope these coaches and players learn from this. They should be grateful they still have a chance at the #1. Long shot chance. But a chance.

Damn 0-2. Feel like all those wins will be all for not in the playoffs. Well despite how it ends I had a really good time watching the Niners actually do good and did live up to my expectations when they drafted Bosa and got Jimmy G for a whole season.
To top it all off, my co-worker now has to paint his nails red and gold with some Niner decals. I will post pic.

I think ultimately the reason for why we lost was because Bumgarner decided to sign the with diamondbacks. Jus saying. it happened during the game.
He jinxed us.
Damn you Bumgarner.

I thought it was a bad sign that Sherman was basically saying he could play if "needed"
Sad thing is we still should've won this game if a handful of things go differently so maybe we didn't really need him but that comment was pretty telling in how we viewed the game and as a result we played the way we did.
Shanahan stressed a ton beforehand about how good ATL was playing lately, how they crushed a Saints team we struggled to beat, and that this was their SB and our SB since it was a playoff clincher. Plus this is his former team.
Theres no way we overlooked this team. Kyle has never let that happen. We crushed most every weak opponent we played this year. If we weren't overlooking them, we weren't going to start now.
ATL is just a good team that had a terrible first half. They beat us. Were also very injured, and haven't had a week off in 11 weeks now. Just accept that we lost playing short handed to a good team and move on.

We outclassed the Rams last time, and now Goff has a hand injury. Plus the 7-7 Cowboys just throttled them. Its not going to be easy, but this should still be a win.

Haha. Nice. On the flip side, we could lose 3 straight and sit pretty at #5 or #6 seed. That's speaks to kicking ass the first half+ of the year.
